Thats stupid. Why did Shaq go to LA to be in Kareems shadow--why does anyone go to LA for that matter?

Face it Chicago is way better destination because of the team they have in place.

Makes sense to me, this is why he's changing his number from 23 to # 6

When switching teams you can automatically change jersey numbers.
He didn't need to file papers for that UNLESS staying in Cleveland.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

when he filed for that number change, cleveland seemed like the favorite to win the title. that's not so much the case now.

Y'all looking to were teams vying for lebron have been or are right now.

Venture to say Lebron ain't winning a title even next season with the usual teams discussed. A darkhorse sign and trade could take a team like Dallas over the top. Too many variables.

Lebron and Derrick Rose might not be the best combo. Rose does many of the things lebron does and visa versa. They need the ball to be effective. Same for Dwade-Lebron combo. Rose-Deng-Lebrone-Noah is interesting, but not ultimate. Lebron don't care about playing in Jordans shadow. OR at least he shouldn't.

Bosh-Lebron-Gallo equates to more tools bought to the table. Gallo is going to be good and as a 3rd option it makes it easy. I think Lebron becomes the point guard. Eddys contract comes off the books and year two will be a pressure year.

Can't discount the Nets. The Russian is cool.

Lebron will win in the reg season playing pt forward, but not deep in the playoffs. Teams know how to play him now, LA showed everybody how to get it done. Lebron never learned how to play with other talented guys to win anything big on a professional level except olympic team. People seem to forget teams have role players and their role can be just as important as the stars at pivotal points in a 7 gm series. Lebron hasn't had those type of players around him to allow him to play off the ball so he could put more pressure on the opposing team.
