So we already started down the path. Let's me honest, the only reason why Gallo wouldn't be move is a personal one for Walsh or D'Antoni. A new regime who would have no loyalties more then likely would view the guy as an asset for a Bosh along with others. Because he would be more objective right off the bat and would look at the immediate value. Unfortunately, Gallinari or any of the younger guys including Chandler & Douglas have not done enough to say no way to upgrades.BTW, myself I wouldn't trade Gallo, Chandler, Douglas or even Walker for Joe Johnson at this point. I don't consider that a true upgrade. I pointed out a couple of weeks back that Chandler is actually out producing Joe Johnson based on minutes played. I don't have that high of a value on Joe Johnson at this point in his career. Bosh is different for me though because of his age, position and the fact that he pretty much already took his team to the playoffs without much help.
I agree, under different management, I don't think any knick young player is safe, but honestly just because some one may not value them as much, doesn't mean moving them will be the right decision...
As I said, if I am going to move one of these kids, I want a huge upgrade.. the only reason I would move chandler for mcgee is because I think we can replace him easier than a guy like gallo who gives you more "skill" and size... plus Mcgee I think is close to being one of those freak 7 foot athletes who can really become a factor once he gets it all together.... other than that, I wouldn't want to move chandler either..
