hard to get a sense of the game that way... really gotta watch the game to see what guys are doing on the floor with certain rotations... for example when House & Al are in the game, MDA has those 2 running off P&R sets while Gallo, Walker & Sergio are standing around on the perimeter... Al gets a lot of heat for stammering the offense but alot of that has to do with the types of plays that are being run when he's on the floor.

I'm watching too but I am noting when players are scoring. Very effective.

Also, Al does a lot to disrupt his own team's offense. He breaks off plays. He sometimes does not take advantage of a teammate's mismatch. If two guys are coming out at you then that means your teammate is open somewhere. Al rather charges in. His moves are effective but sometimes when he gets tangle out in the paint it is because he didn't wait to check.

But you're right TMS, sometimes Al is looking to score quick because MDA is putting him in there for that reason.

i will agree w/u on that... Al forces the issue a lot... sometimes out of necessity tho with the clock winding down & no one moving to get the ball.

Stop taking long distance shots and work it inside.

Well, looks like the team just showed up to get "revenge" on the Mavs and gave up again.

One thing I notice watching Celtic games lately is how much Nate is under control now. MDA used to give him a green light to do whatever but Doc has look to harness and refine his quick scoring ability. It should be interesting to see what Nate could do in a playoff series.

i don't get the constant weaving at the top of the key between 3 players while 2 other guys stand stagnant waiting for a kickout... shouldn't there be someone cutting backdoor while all this motion is happening at the top of the key for an easy layup? i'm not a coach or anything so maybe this is naive but seems other teams do this with effectiveness.

It was there in the 1st quarter but they went away from it. I guess MDA leaves it up to the players to decide to move without the ball. Conditioning with some of the players could be a reason why it fades in and out of games. T-Mac does it for a good solid two minutes and then stops all together.

My pining for Jrue Holiday is finally starting to look a little less insane.

Just add him to the list of PG's the Donnie totally whiffed on.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Toney Douglas has been playing well when given minutes tho... u can't really be unhappy w/his pick at #29

yeah i mean i don't expect every play to be called from the bench... sometimes guys just have to know when to cut & when not to... but it just gets tiresome when u see guys standing out beyond the 3 pt line doing nothing & then launching as soon as they touch the ball... we really could do w/more movement w/o the ball throughout the course of the game.
