Anji - I would submit that no system can make a player look good over the long haul. You can either play or you cannot. Bill Walker is not showing anything new from his collegiate days. He display an ability to create his own shot (check) the willingness to be an effective passer (check) and the ability to finish strong at he rim (double check). Most of all, Walker demonstrates an attitude of toughness the Knicks desperately need to dictate a playing personality. Nonje of those attributes can be manufactured by playing in a SSOL system.
The primary question about Walker was the condition of his knees.
Can't the Knicks, or Walker's agent, hire a specialist to monitor his conditioning during the 4 months from June to September?
