earlier i was speculating with the previous proposed tmac deal from houston, and reading larry coon's last nytimes blog, that the knicks would need eddy to take $1.7 mil less to get them in a spot to sign 2 max fa's.

i am reading now that with this deal, maybe we can already do that.

Gallo, Lebron, and Johnson would be a nice core to work with. The key is getting Lebron.
