We could add a few players to Boston and see if they do this

Nate + Landry + Jeffries + Hill for House + Williams + Allen + Scalabrine + Giddens

All the Boston players are expirings and not a main part of the Celtics rotation, except maybe Tony Allen whom we could cut and let go back to Boston.
Boston gets Nate and Jeffries who can help them this year and a #8 drafted rookie (Hill) for their future. We get a future 1st (probably late 1st round) from Boston for Hill.
We don't get raped by Houston.

It is so hard to trade Nate right now due to being a base year player. I don't know how LA would do this. Plus they don't have a draft pick this year in the first round.

doesn't matter who they draft, d'antoni won't play him.

Since 2 of the best teams in the NBA are seriously interested in Nate, and you need to add other players so the salary can work for Nates BYC, we can add Jeffries and not take back a draft pick! Trying to get creative :

Nate+Jeffries+ (Landry or cash) for House, Scalabrine, Tony Allen Works on ESPN Trade Machine

I really do not see how a trade with Boston works with Nate only, maybe they add Darko. If they want to take Jeffries, I would throw the latest of our second rounders.

Im on board with getting Lance Stephenson with a late pick this year.

a waste of time would be letting robinson go in the summer for nothing.

In the same light, for Houston, it would be a waste for letting TMac expire and get nothing for him. Which is why Houston shouldn't be dictating such high terms. If Houston gets nothing for TMac, they have lost out on a lot.

no, they haven't. they'll just have cap space. they have nothing to lose.

Nate would quote Eminem...

Donnie trying to get a pick to reroute to Houston?

As long as we get a pick for Nate, totally fine with it as there is no chance we are resigning him.

"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)
