Houston makes out the best with these trade scenarios. They give up TMac who isn't even playing for 2 players who will start and make them a strong playoff contender. Houston will have to give up a first round pick to Wash.
They also need to take on a 3rd player to balance salary. Butler and Hayward are NOT enough matching salary for TMac's $23,240,000 salary. So add Jeffries to Houston and Houston adds Chuck Hayes to Wash; Wash adds Mike James to Knicks.
Knicks trade: Harrington(Wash), Darko (to Wash), Nate(to Wash), Jeffries (to Houston), 2nd round pick from Denver/Clippers to Wash
Knicks receive: TMac, Mike James
Houston trades: TMac (to Knicks) + Chuck Hayes(to Wash) + 1st round to Wash
Houston receives: Butler, Hayward, Jeffries
Wash trades: Butler(To Houston), Hayward(to Houston), James(to Knicks)
Wash receives: Harrington, Nate, Darko (they may cut?); Chuck Hayes; Houston 1st round; Knicks 2nd round pick from Denver/Clippers
This trade works with trade checker.
Also works logically.
-Houston gains 3 players who can help them this year.
-Wash dumps contract and gains a young player (Hayes), 1st rd pick from Houston, 2nd round pick from Knicks, and maybe re-sign Nate and/or Harrington.
-Knicks dump Jeffries contract and pick up a PG for this yr and TMac?? Who knows what will happen?
The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense.
