but imho, i think it's somewhat of a lateral move. wade is the only guy on offense but jermaine does anchor their team defense. removing him and adding amare basically adds offense while losing defense.

Amare isn't staying in NJ if he is dealt there. LeBron isn't going to NJ no matter who the hell is on the roster at the time. LeBron will either be a Cav or a Knick next season. If Amare went to the Cavs and played well then maybe that's enough for LeBron to stay put. That's it though. LMFAO at the Nets. Nobody is going there. Joe Johnson would take the max to play there. That's about it.

I am not sure that Amare wouldn't stay in NJ. However, Thorn has to consider this and with the Nets cap situation they can take on a longer term deal at the deadline. With everyone trying to dump contracts they could do very well.
