I agree about Nate being under-appreciated. Its a joke how much shyt he takes around here. I too hope he goes to Boston and rips it up and grabs a chip.

But Jamal and Zach had to go. Individually, guys like Nate, Marbury, Jamal, Zach, ext... were all talented but as a collective they were a mess. It was a bloated roster and we desperately needed cap flexibility and a fresh start. We're playing better than we were with those guys and we have a ton of maneuverability to grab an impact player or two.

We're good. No need for pessimism, but I feel you on Nate. Obviously. The fact that we always ridicule our players doesnt help trade value. We should have gotten more for Randolph. Duke is absolutely killing it in Memphis.

Nate on an established team COULD fall in line to his role and be a great cheerleader and offensive boast. He could learn from veteran leadership that we just don't have here at this time.

This would be dumb and assinine and I would really start questioning DWs GMing if he made a move like that.

Earlier today, a league source close to both sides of the situation shot down the rumors that the Celtics have renewed talks with the Knicks concerning their disgruntled veteran guard.

“Don’t waste your time,” said the source. “The Knicks are looking for quite a bit for him.”

Robinson’s agent, Aaron Goodwin, denied any knowledge of renewed discussions. “If anyone would know, I think it would be me,” he said.

Well, said veteran leadership includes Kevin Garnett, who, in all honesty, really isn't all there.

Should this trade go down - it'll be interested how and if he and Doc can get along.

Garnett may be hurt and not playing 100% of the time, but he is there.

Thanks for the update and links. No team is going to overpay for Robinson when he is a UFA this summer. A young guy and a pick would more than suffice.

Generally speaking that is true but the ONLY two teams that migh want him now are the Celts and the Lakers. Both know they can win it all and both may see him being a valuable asset that gets them there. Especially for thr celtics where age/injuries are weighing heavily on them waiting for next year may not be agreat decision.
