We can eat meat but humans arent carnivores OBM... If you really want to get into a nature debate with me. But we humans have the ability to find substitutes. You wont be going against your nature by turning into a vegetarian.

Im no vegetarian myself but its something I have considered.

Its all the same to me. Dog fighting. C8*k fighting. Moose hunting. Shark hunting. Even fishing. It all shows we have no regard and that people are just blood seeking maniacs as a species. Its disgusting.

Now you've gone too far. Take it back. (Yes, I realize there is inherently some degree of hypocrisy in loving to fish and hating hunting).

I just dont think its any better when you nab a fish, bring it in and let it die a slow agonizing death when you just throw it in a box instead of just killing it.

You all must think Im some tree hugger btw but Im not. We need to do some things. Im guilty of doing crap too. We all our.

I really dont see reasons why we cant take steps foward though in how we treat animals. We treat them like the gum on the bottom of our shoes at times.

And then the worse part is that when we love them, we completely humanize them which is stupid as hell too.

Down here in Georgia Hunting is BIG!!! Guys talk about having to kill a Deer that they thought was dead but it got up and they went Man to Deer fighting with a hunting knife. Really tho I don't understand the desire to go out and hunt something with all the modern tools. The only reason is blood thirst! It's the same with MMA and Boxing. You have to have some degree of desire to see someone get hurt in order to watch or take part. I admit that I love the skill and technique of competitive fighting sports, but the element of violence is always part of it.

For hunters there's not the same level of noble respect that I give to native americans and other indigenous people that hunt for sustenance but have deep respect for the life they take. IMO In modern society there's no reason to really justify hunting as a sport. Down here they say it's necessary to keep the heard down which is a bad thing for the Deer etc. Of course we killed off all the prey animals that kept the balance in nature...

Grizzly Bears and Kougars used to be plentiful accross North America and now they are either endangered or very close to endangered. I'm sure it's the same with wolves. I guess it was better to replace them with Burmese Pythons.

And to bring Seca (sp?) deer over from Asia just to add to the hunting.

Here's the thing, hunting is no more evil than such things as:
-driving a car
-buying meat at a grocery
-buying pets from breeders instead of adopting
and so on.

But our culture is very hypocritical. Hunting is fine, provided:
-you make use of the game you hunt (like eating it)
-you use fair play (like no rocket launchers)
-you don't cause a species to go extinct

Point is, there are tons of things we consider 'normal' that are much more brutal and evil than hunting for sport. To kill a buck, or a turkey, for example, is a triumph over nature. This triumph over nature is what has led to us building houses, clothes, inventing light bulbs, inventing cars, etc., What is problem??

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.
