same way we can hold Zach Randolph & Jamal Crawford's contracts against them... this is nothing personal, it's just what's best for our team... we need to dump Fishlips' contract to have any legit shot at Lebron coming here, let's face it.

OH, yea, definitely. I mean I want to get rid of him too. I just mean that he's really good at what he does, and he's helping us right now. I didn't mean that we shouldn't look to trade him! That's all.

Jeffries offensive game is very poor, it's true. But his defense is very good. He's a one-way player, in other words, like several other of our players (it's just all the other one-wayers are scorers whose defense is poor). Why is a good defender with no offensive game any more of a scrub than a scorer with no defense?

Because outside of his +/-, his box scores are unflattering. And in this day-and-age, bad lines won't win him many fans.

almost every team has a hustle type player like Fishlips... Bucks have a younger better version in Luc Mbah a Moute who makes all the hustle plays & they pay him a rookie minimum contract... the fact that we're paying Fishlips to do the same things for $6 mil per is disgusting to me, but that's not why he's a scrub... it's his talent & ability that puts him into that category... if Fishlips were even just as good as someone like Chris Anderson, i'd give him a lot more respect, & Anderson isn't a guy who puts up huge stats either.

If defense is just hustle, why is it so hard to get players to play good defense?

It's more than hustle--it's seeing your man, anticipating his moves, being in the right place at the right time. Defense is a skill. Like offense is a skill.

he's a dirty work role player dude, let's be real here... he brings some intangibles & some defense to a team but nothing more... he's not some All-NBA level shutdown defensive catalyst that can be the glue to a winning formula... if he were we woulda been winning w/him a long time ago... there's a ton of these types of players at the end of every bench in the NBA... they give you max effort & hustle on defense & bring little of anything else.

Fishlips can't even hold a candle to this guy... he had some offensive skills to go along w/his tenacious D & toughness... plus he had a much cooler nickname than Fishlips.
