I don't think you can discount the advantage of having a returning hughes who will have 1+1/2 years working in mda's system and running his game plan. I personally hope he stays, has plenty of bb left..good size, good quickness, decent shooter, can take it to the rim or dish and is the best creative playmaker on the team. His unselfish play, versatility and gOod shot selection will only increase his value. Oh, ,d then there's the obvious....commitment to harassing defense. He makes the team better and is part of the developing good chemistry and new winning culture. - say as of right now, he' a keeper

One game doesn't make a season and overall I think Hughes has played well but it's games like tonight that reinforce my opinion that he's not a someone you want to rely on to play point.
Hughes is versatile enough to play & guard both G positions so he's a valuable piece if u can keep him on a reasonable deal... at $13 mil per, no... at midlevel dollars, i'd say he's a keeper... it's not easy to find guys that play on both sides of the ball like him at that type of money... unless we can replace him w/someone like Raja Bell at lesser money than midlevel dollars, i don't see many good alternative solutions to fill our vacancy at the G position this offseason... Crittenton is another guy i'd like to target as i've mentioned before.
