I would put a lot of incentives into the contract and have a big sit-down with Iverson, Walsh, and MDA about his role on the team if they sign him.

in almost any other year and in any other situation with the Knicks I would say no to signing AI. But the Knicks suck so much and are leaderless and heartless, I would consider it. BUT, and it's a must, Douglas must be in the guard rotation at at least 20 minutes per or more at Duhon's expense. It's a must.

Gallo doesn't get a lot of touches right now and is essentially only asked to take 3s. Adding Iverson won't hurt that and if anything, he could free up some space for Gallo to get his shot off. You can't leave Iverson open for a shot but you can certainly leave Duhon open right now.

As for Chandler, his role is already being diminished because his offensive game is such a mess. Adding AI can't making anything worse. Hill and Douglas are both rookies who shouldn't be asked to carry the team in scoring.
