Blatche/Crittendon/Mike James
for
Chandler/Jeffries/Hill

Crit is a big combo guard to play opposite Hughes, James gives us shooting guard depth, and Blatche can play the 3/4/5 spots and spread the floor even more.

Chandler and Jeffries give them more balanced play from the forward spots and Hill is a nice chip for them. They aren't in position for a 2010 FA anyway, so they are a perfect team to absorb Jeffries.

Gives us more cap room, clearing about half of Jeffries salary, which would give us more of a shot at getting two players at near Max dollars.

i don't think WAS is trading Blatche for that package, they're high on him down here in DC & he's been playing well of late... they have no need for Chandler either w/Caron Butler in the fold... i do like Crittenton tho, i've been proposing trade ideas to get him for a while now... i would be fine with offering up our 2nd round pick for him along w/some cash considerations.

That's probably true. They didn't even extend Crittendon so you'd think you could get him for next to nothing though.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

i think the second rounder would be enough for Crittenton at this point but if it takes some cash to sweeten it, that's fine by me... i would even offer up Nate to WAS for Oberto & Crittenton if they were interested in that instead cuz i much prefer Toney Douglas' team oriented style of play over Nate's flash & dash antics to be our backup PG.

Crittenton's still mad young at 21 so u know he's got room to grow as a basketball player... when i watched him on the Lakers he showed some promise in small spurts... he can defend his position & is really big for a PG... having him & Hughes as our backcourt would look pretty good for now until Wilson gets his act together.

We need that 2nd round pick in a deep draft next year. I wonder if we could trade Landry and cash for him since they don't want him.

if WAS would somehow take back Fishlips, Nate, our 2nd round pick & cash for Mike James, Crittenton & Oberto i'd do that in a heartbeat.

Detroit would be an interesting trade partner. If we moved Chandler/Nate/Jeffries for Prince/Bynum then we'd still have room for a max player in 2010, would still clear room for another Max player in 2011. Detroit would clear half of Prince's 2010 money. (Prince has been rumored in trades recently)

Hughes-Gallo-Prince-Al Jr-Lee

with a bench of

Hill-Darko-Douglas-Duhon-Bynum

Not too bad. Prince can score better on his own than Wilson can. You'd have a team where everyone is basically the same height so they could switch to their heart's content. All of them can handle the ball to some extent.

I think I really like the idea of looking to trade for Prince too. Offensively, the is not the most dynamic scorer, but he would bring a great defensive presence to the team and help to attract 2010 talent
