Wow!!!! Wow!!!! Wow!!!! Wow!!!! I am pretty psyched about this move. Listen - regardless of Zekes ? marks...he will bring change to an organization that desperately needs it. Chaney - your days are numbered my friend, I will be equally as happy to see him go, but only if he is replaced by a heavy hitter.

This is a move that had to be done, its way overdue but I am glad Dolan finally saw the light. Now lets see how things work out with Zeke, but I have a good feeling about the move. At least people know who he is...when I heard Layden's name the first time followed by the name Utah I almost cried.

yea chris russo from mike and the mad dog is a big nosed, nerd looking, sissy looking fag. He is not even a NY fan period, He likes the Giants in baseball and was a layden supporter..

this is great news, now we have hope again as fans. thomas will be fine, no one should dare defend layden. thomas while GM with the raps, drafted Stoudamire, Camby, T-mac, and traded Jamison for Vince. That alone is better than any move layden has ever done in his tenure with the knicks.....

Finally something worth writng about. Isiah may not be perfect but at least he is not Dolan. I think Dolan was trying to bluff the other GMs into making a move. It was to the point other GMs didn't take him seriously. You can't play your cards close to the vest if you never have any aces and the other guy knows it.
I think Isiah will have Fwill play a lot more and move a PF or two immediately.

Knicks fans with clear vison will rejoice, while the fickle flip-floppers who backed LayDown crawl their invertebrate asses back under the rock. I love it.
Now all Isaiah has to do is make the right moves. Wow, it feels SO refreshing!

Kind of like coming out of the closet.

I pleaded that the team change philosphy. If you read my posts, you'd understand.

Did anyone hear Isaiah's profound words in the press conference? He said "Mr. Dolan wants the Knicks to get to the Playoffs, I want the Knicks to win an NBA Championship... Anything less than a title is a failure."

How long has it been since someone in Knicks management said something like that and acutally seemed sincere. It's about time.

Hey TKF, I am with you 100% that no one in their right mind should, would or could defend that bum LayDown. I have been dropping bombs on LayDown supporters with reckless abandon for over 2 years now.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

He didn't say anything else either thouhg. All he said was I want to win a championship. I was really happy about this but I want to see some moves before I can say he is going to help the Knicks. He cannot hurt us though cause anyone is better than OSama Bin Laden!

If it ain't broke don't fix it. But if it is DO SOMETHING. This is something - which is a good thing. In the short term I'd be happy if Isiah can just get the roster balanced - even if…Æ`€doesn't improve the talent level.

OK, I see you're trying to wiggle your way outta this one like a mouse on a glue trap. It would be too easy to prove my point by simply quoting some of your earlier posts. Trust me, I am not the only one who called you out for supporting LayDown. My understanding and comprehending your posts has never been the issue. Play the semantics game all you want, referring to the whole philosophy thing, sugar coating, fluffing it up, whatever. Bottom line- you supported him. Look at your name, man... Layden spelled backwards. Scott LayDown himself should have spelled his own name backwards, because backwards is the only direction he took this team while he was here.

you need a history lesson he did not trade Jameson for Vince he was firied as Raps Gm & Pres long before that deal

And Drafting Camby was a dumb move

WFAN is ripping Isiah. They are so stupid, they no nothing about the NBA.

do they think we're better off with Layden!

Chris Russo was going ape **** about Isiah Thomas being the GM and Layden getting fired. I guess Dog is easy to buy. Give him a packet of orange and blue KOOL AID and he starts to lick anyones butt. Dumb Dog. Russo just isn't about the any team in NY and he can't stand to see any New York fan be happy.

This is the best day for a NYK fan in a long time. NO dog is gonna spoil it for me. I'm happy knowing that a person who won the NBA title on two oocasions and a National Basketball championship in college is leading the team. I heard some of the press confrence and people were talking about not playoffs but championship how long has it been since any NYK person talked of a championship. I'll tell you who the last person was it was Pat Ewing. Its been that long. This is going to be a long road but like I said I'm happy knowing that a person who knows what it takes to win it all is leading the team.
That experience is priceless for an organization and GM to have.

Camby was really foul prone in the begining and took some time to get into the flow. Later on he started missing games because he was so injury prone. All that is still fine because he missed only 19 games.

The problem was he was taken No.2 overall in the draft. It would'nt have been that dumb if he wasn't picked over Shareef Abdur Rahim, Stephon Marbury, Ray Allen and Atoine Walker.

Listen here chump, Brendan Malone will be the new knicks head coach, just like In Toronto watch and see the knicks take names. Then youwill see I know the deal. Zeke is from Chicago and guess what so is Frank Williams!!!!! He will make this guy into a star! He knows how to get the most out of young players.

One thing I know is gonna happen is no more play the guy from Utah. Eisley can sit his azz down now. Ward see ya buyout time if he don't get traded. Frank Williams is gonna be in soon. No more pressure on Chaney to justify Laydens moves of playing and giving minutes to Eisley, Spoon, Anderson, KVH, and Doleac.

Tis is truely a great day for all NYK fans that includes you too Playa. I know you with everyone on this. Secretly you are very happy.

Oh please, gimme a f&#kin break, Playa. You are so goddamn fickle it's disgusting. You backed the LayDown regime (including Chaney), now you really think that those of us who know how you get down are gonna sit idly by and let you jump ship unnoticed? Oh hell naw, punk. All of a sudden it's "with or without Chaney"? Pick a side and stay there.

That's exactly why you gets NO respect, son. For once in your life, act like a man. Just admit when you are wrong like a man and stop the hypocrisy. Go down with the ship you built, chump.

Listen here chump My claim has always been the knicks will do damage this yr period. Chaney is free to play who Zekes want now or he is out as head coach. All I know is Malone and Zeke have a relationship that goes way back. When NY wins this yr , you and your clones will look silly saying this teams sucks and we aren't going anywhere. YOU YOURSELF SHOULDN'T BE FICKEL AND TRY TO SAY WE ARE IN GONNA BE GOOD NOW. You said we suck REMEMBER!
