one more thing

of course Marcus Landry is not an NBA calibre star. If he was he would have been discovered at The Rucker, The NCAA Tournamant, The Big 10 Championship, Las Vegas, Europe or some other pick up league. I heard he can barely walk and chew gum at the same time, but he has earned something no one on this thread can say he or she will EVER earn in a lifetime...

... An NBA jersey with his name sewn on the back that he didn't purchase at The NBA Store.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

After his pre-draft workout with his hometown Milwaukee Bucks, Dave Babcock, the Bucks’ director of player personnel had good things to say about Marcus. “You can see why Wisconsin had such a good team. He’s [Marcus] a solid player. He does all the little things well and is very competitive. He did a good job…He has a future in basketball, maybe not in the NBA or it may be in the NBA, I don’t know. He can play if he keeps pursuing it.”

And

I actually go to Wisconsin as well; I am currently a senior.
We had some good season with Landry but he never did anything to be noticed as an individual player…. But that is just kind of how we play. I see Wisconsin as the Spurs of college basketball (without the championships.) Everyone plays a role, and there are no stars. Landry was always good, and he had a nice jumper; he should be able to aqcuire NBA 3pt range in time. He shot pretty well from the college 3. Plus, he’s 6′7 and knows how to play the game.
I guess the combo of being 6′7, knowing how to play the game the right way, and having a good shot is really the trifecta for D’Antoni, so i can see why they like him.

Thanks, that was very helpful. Sounds like a good pick-up by the Knicks. They have found a good young players with character and a strong work ethic that can play the game the right way in Douglas and Landry sounds like he could be cut from the same cloth . Nothing wrong with that.

Dude has 3 kids and a wife...I guess this explains his maturity. That's whats up.
that is awesome... glad he makes the roster, he earned it. Whats the NBA min? $450k about? Stay healthy, practice and play hard, and hit the shot when you can

lol. but having 3 kids and a wife at that age can also be considered immature.

three kids and *no* wife would be immature.

six kids and two wives would show twice the maturity.
