knicks are at .500 cool place to be-- fiba teams like to shoot and draw fouls alot so this is a good test for ny to see if they can stay out of foul trouble and counter a shooting team by not trying to go shot for shot but playing smart basketball of ball moment to find those those high percentage baskets.

Play the young kids dont need to see Lee, Nate or Wilson. I want to see Toney, Gallinari, and Hill and see what they can give us.

Totally, it makes little sense keeping the regulars in there against inferior competition. Toney, Gallo and Hill as you said it can use the minutes and boost.

Crazy situation with the Maccabi coach. First off, the refs should be a lot more lenient with their patience today. They're handing out techs like they're handing out candy. Show a thicker skin - this is a good will game, a charity game.

Having said that, once their coach got hit with his second T, hit the road jack. He created quite the mockery there, winking & laughing at the camera. That annoyed me. I got stuff to do after this game. I don't have time for an extra 15 mins of nonsense.

We're up 20 - I want to see Landy, Crawford and esp. Hill in the game now. D'Antoni's use of Hill has killed me this whole pre-season. Hill had his best run this whole pre-season in that little first half stretch then doesn't get back in?? Play the damn guy! He was looking extremely active on both ends. I was finally starting to think breakout game. Then he doesn't get back in. WTF???

Is there some place in Poughkepsie when can send Hughes?

Up 16 with just about 5 mins. to go. I wanna see MDA finish the game with this lineup minus Hughes. Hughes just is not playing like a capable veteran deserving of any kind of meaningful playing time if you ask me. But close this one down with Hill, Landry, Crawford and Douglas. Even though we're up 16, I like the pace in the end here. It's competitive. Good experience for these young guys. Hill looks good to me today...

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I just feel after watch Hill play today that once his coach & teammates identify him as a focal point and learn to trust him and look for him more, his whole demeanor will change & his game is just gonna take off. Right now he's running around out there and his teammates aren't really looking for him. As a result, after a couple of empty trips up & down the court, I wouldn't say he loses interest, but his intensity level definitely takes a dive. We saw it in the end of this game. I saw him set countless strong picks out high and when he rolled to the basket, he never got the ball. That's gotta get a little frustrating...Once this guy starts to touch the ball more and once he becomes more of a focus in what they're trying to do out there, I think we'll see an elevated level of intensity and much sharper play on both ends. He's playing a little frustrated right now - some guys that play frustrated lose their edge. He needs to fight through it and maintain his focus and desire. Never let that fire die out. I wish he played with the passion of Marcus Landry - there's a guy that knows how to maximize his playing time. I'd love to see Hill demand the ball more on offense and just make the most of his minutes. Not everyone's like that I guess. Wilson Chandler's a perfect example. Maybe in Hill's mind, he feels like he doesn't have the right to force the issue like that yet on a veteran club, being a rookie and all. Who knows. I bet that's part of it - he's a low-key guy.. It'll come. We need to be patient with him - his slow start isn't all on him though, I can tell you that right now..

Hill plays out of control. He's rushing every single time he gets the ball. I'm not sure why. Nervousness? Trying to impress? Trying to adjust to the NBA game? I don't know but I hope and I think he will learn to channel that energy better down the line.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.
