Can we take Amare of the table. That was a stupid thing to say, Hill can't take the ball and dunk on you and he isn't going to run the floor any where near Amare.

Teague does look very solid and could have been had if we traded down. Derozen really looks solid and a player like that make Chandler expendable and opens up time at the four for Gallo. I would have liked to see walsh get much more creative out there and offer up Chandler plus a player maybe a draft pick or even just to have those two next two each other would have been scary defensively. I think he missed the boat here.

Have who next to each other defensively?

This is the wrong thread for more draft recaps, but Derozan along with Chandler would be a crazy combo in terms of defensive flexibility.

Almost any of the 2010FA's could fit in D'Antoni's Power Forward slot, so a core of

PG:(Rondo/Lowry/Ford/Duhon/Farmar)
SG:Derozan
SF:Chandler
PF:(LeBron/Bosh/Amare/Johnson)
C: JJeffries

with Gallo playing super-sub that could sub in for any of the SG/SF/PF

Who knows, I'd love to see a recording of the Knicks war room from that 2009 draft.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I thought this thread was about who fills the last 2 slots. We have had 800 million posts on Jordan Hill since the draft. Lets talk about something else ...or start another Jordan Hill thread.

I say one guard and 1 forward ....so it will be Joe Crawford at SG and Marcus Landry for his hardnosed, tough, enthusiastic playing. A losing team(Knicks) needs energetic players to get everyone re-motivated when things go sour.

Chris Hunter isn't needed as we have Darko, Eddy, Lee at Center and Hill, Harrington, JJ (and Lee) at PF.
