Alan Hahn:
Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

^^^ does he take one dribble there or not? hard to tell on youtube
How big does Evans look in that other video though... Sacto could take a major leap if that backcourt stays healthy. Alan Hahn:

Curry, again, 8 assists! That's 8.5 per game in his 2 preseason games, coming off the bench. We missed out on an all-star. IF there was ever a blunder in the Donnie Walsh reign, it was not trading up to acquire this kid!

Posted by orangeblobman: Yeah, noticed that. Anyone see those assists? Wonder if they were pretty good passes or just run of the mill. Regarding not trading up, I think if it required Chandler as some rumors point to, then it's a no go. But if it was pick 8 plus another player, then maybe... Chase Budinger led Houston with 17 points. Aaron Brooks, Kyle Lowry and rookie Jermaine Taylor had 14 each. The Rockets rallied from 17 points down in the first quarter to take a 78-76 lead into the final period, but couldn't sustain it.

Raps vs Wolves 10/9
Flynn - 23 min - 4-7 from the floor, 6-8 from the line, 0 reb, 1 ast, 5 TO - 14 pts Derozan - 24 min - 3-8 from the floor, 4-5 from the line, 3 reb, 0 ast, 2 TO - 11 pts Flynn's been scoring efficiently in his games. Has to avoid the TO's though. That was one of the knocks on him. 76ers vs Nets 10/9 Holiday - 8 min - 1-2 from the floor, 1-1 from the line, 0 reb, 0 ast, 1 TO - 3 pts TWill - 33 min - 5-10 from the floor, 2-3 from the line, 5 reb, 4 ast, 3 stl - 12 pts Nice line from Williams. He's going to have a big impact if he can put up numbers anything close to that. Mavs vs Wiz 10/9 Beaubois - 21 min - 4-8 from the floor, 4-6 from the line, 0 reb, 3 ast, 3 stl - 14 pts Alan Hahn:

Posted by CrushAlot: I like Budinger as a great scorer but the guy can't defend. He seemed a bit passive in college to boot, but like I said, I liked the guy and wouldn't have minded him as a late pick, but we are stacked at forward. The thing with Hill is, he can eventually play down low and defend... The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. ...Wonder if they were pretty good passes or just run of the mill...
From what I saw of the highlights, I'd say they were very fine passes. He's had some prep time and guys will adapt to his game but, damn, his anticipation and court smarts make for some pretty amazing passes. Also, it's worth noting that he's clocked a ton of steals and generally played okay defensively. No shot, however, yet. |
