I think I'm definitely going to go to the Charlotte game on 1/7. All the other days are tough though b/c I work on Monday and Wednesdays and can't ask for too many days off. I'll see. I'm probably a shoe in for 1/7 though.

Cool. I went to a few games last year with my 12 year old and the best time we had was with a pair of $10 tickets. The crowd was cooler in the $10 seats, even if it wasn't the intense Knicks crowd of years past. (Oddly, it seems a lot of clueless tourists end up with those $10 tickets. Used to be lotsa kidz from my 'hood, all wearing Oakley jerseys and doing their own play-by-play commentary. I suspect the tourists will evaporate if the Knicks start winning.)

Anyway, I'm down with buying Briggs a beer and enjoying a UK Knicks game. However, I'd love to take my 12 year old so, if that's possible, I'll need to know what section/seat or, perhaps, just add him to the list and I'll put a crisp $10 bill in his hand to reimburse Briggs.

Actually, come to think of it, the most fun we had at da Garden last year was at two college games. The tickets were cheap and the crowd was into the games, even it was a little smaller crowd than usual. (IIRC, they close off the 400 seats for some college games.) Easily, the highlight of the year for us was Curry's comeback heroics in the Davidson v. WV games.

No credit is needed in anyway. The people who deserve credit are Martin and Andrew for providing a great service for free to everyone here. I am personally very thankful to them and this is the least I can do to show my gratitude. And Number 2--I have your son's ticket--that's cool you would bring him--I am going to bring my son who is the same age.

the Garden is the only venue I know that has real beer at non F-U prices. Guiness, Stella, etc. Not cheap but prison sex either. Name your poison I got ya covered.
