If I recall Donnie Walsh helped run the Pacres into the ground
ahh... when did that happen? I recall him building one of the more promising young teams out of a declining old one. Can you elaborate?

How can you want to steal Sessions from his team and the hometown bucks fans?

If Ramon Sessions is signed for 4 million and has a great year do you think he has value? Of course he does and that is an easy contract to move, because he does multiple things well.

The whole situation would have been so much easier if Donnie just moved Nate and Jefferies at the deadline. Then we would have had more room in the rotation for a player like darko off the bench.

I still think Lee, Hill, Gall, Chandler is better than anything that Cleveland go throw out there. Donnie is in a bad position to move Curry because of the Marbury pick but it's more than possible to move one of these guys during the season.

A sign and trade with Lee to get Bayless would solve a lot of problems open up time for Hill and provide the knicks with core positions a the 1-2-3-5 if you think Hill can play some center, which he should be able to.

He can't. He pulls a lot of stuff out of his ass. Although I'm glad he's finally posting his true thoughts and not beating around the bush. He hates Donnie. Good for him. But I don't the opinion of someone who supported guys like Isiah, Curry, Sweetney and others too seriously. Making the playoffs in 14 of his 17 seasons there is apparently running them into the ground. Were the Pacers even relevant pre-Donnie?
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Donnie was a figure head for the pacers until his contract ran out. Bird has been running things for a few years.

But, like most teams he has his share of blunders. Austin Crushare is a good example.

I thought the Reggie Miller/Smits teams with the Davis Twins were top 4 in the east for years and like the knicks would have gotten one if not for the dreaded Bulls. The Rebuild that Isiah coached were well constructed and had good regular seasons. Beit Isiah or injury the teams petered out come playoff time. Bird Took over and put his stamp on the team. Lots of variables including Artest's antics.

Donnie got a plan and mistakes will be made in hindsight. Happens with all the good teams. Just can't make the big ones.

If you can sign Lebron, you sign him. We might not ever win a championship, but it won't be because of him. If your Dolan, the consolation prize is you make lots of money like the team did in the Ewing Era.

When you don't have a franchise player, your going to be making moves for the hell of it, cause who would you be surronded your players around, the coach. Thats been the problem since Ewing's deprture.

You just start grabing talented sub par players.
