So you guys think that with AI, there will NOT be an upgrade in interest of Knicks games ?? I think we get a few more TV games that will NOT be blacked out.

for me, development of the younger players is more important that a few black out games.

Allen Iverson will not become a member of the Knicks, according to multiple adamant sources that spoke with Alan Hahn of Newsday.

One source suggested that Hahn "take a very strong position that the Knicks are not a destination for Iverson."

Another put it succinctly that Iverson's future team is "definitely not" the Knicks.

Cross-posted this in other AI thread. This is a smart move by the Knicks. We don't need to be AI's showcase for his final deal.

Everything Walsh has done has been about improving the team over the long-term rather than doing quick but poor fixes. It really shouldn't surprise anyone that Iverson was not part of the plans.

I wonder how the tv ratings were? I missed many games, and the ones I did watch didn't hold my interest so I didn't even watch the whole game.

that was a mistake. the little bit of luck commercials last year were killer.

Iverson is exactly the type of player we do NOT need. No team is even calling him. Two of the highest paid (over $20 million last year) and "Best" point guards, according to themselves, are not wanted by any team in the NBA....Marbury and Iverson. GMs have learned that they just aren't worth having.

Is any NBA team still looking for the Answer?
No one is making calls on Allen Iverson. No one. Why? They all know the answers about The Answer.

If your team’s a contender, Iverson proved with the Pistons that he wants no part of fitting into a system. If you’re a bad team trying to develop young players, he’ll stunt growth. Here’s the problem: Iverson is just good enough to still be dangerous.
Even so, A.I. has always been of sound mind if not sound judgment. As for Stephon Marbury(notes), he did a much better job sacrificing his game with the Boston Celtics a season ago but has almost no chance to regain NBA employment this summer.

“Steph has gone off the deep end,” one Western Conference GM said.
