Alright then I'll substitute Shaq in at Center and give you the edge at that position. That makes the starting lineup virtually even, slightly leaning towards you guys, but remember Lee is way better than Varejao so who knows.

Our bench is what kills...we'd have crazy firepower comin off the bench. Cavs are just ok.

imho, i think alot of the roster will have to change and that will take 2-3 years after the lebron signing. nothing wrong with that but just trying to counter the initial sentiment.

it's funny, I was looking at the roster for CLE in 2010, and there is VERY little wiggle room for them when Z and Shaq expire. IMHO, they MUST move Z this season for another player if they want to stay competitive. Look at their roster for 2010, it sucks and they are capped out.

but what about 2011? i don't think 1 year of cap if they don't trade the expirings is going to sway a player's opinion b/c i don't think it matters. they can lure melo or paul to that sh t city, no?

that's the thing. CLE will not have any cap space in 2010 except to resign LeBron. In 2011, they will have like $43M on the books after they renounce Delonte West and IF they don't use the MLE in 2010. so no, they mostly likely wont have room for another Max signing.

but that's not a problem...teams are always willing to dump contracts for expirings. that's what the knicks will have to do when/if they get lebron.

whoever signs lebron, it doesn't matter. the knicks are not ahead in terms of having a better team. lebron coming to the knicks will have nothing to do with the roster or it's future prospects in free agency or the trade market.

btw, baron + chandler are better than anybody on the current knicks roster.


WOW, wtf? whichever team in the East hes Lebron is not only making playoffs, its likely going to the CF if not the Finals. It doesn't matter if its Knicks, cavs or ------ fill in the damn blank. Lets get real, Lebron is a team by himself , if u can get him and make some very minor tweaks on your roster you become a championship caliber team. This discussion is very interesting but rather moot.
