Who do you want to run the point for the Knicks in 2009/10 season???
Sessions at half or all of the mid-level for multi years/sign and trade
Tinsley for what would probably be a 1 year rental at the vet min
Re-sign Nate
Give it to Toney
Duhon cuz he sucks so good

Zack berg of nba.com says on twitter:
Rumor has it Knicks are close to signing Ramon Sessions to offer sheet. Would be a an excellent move for NYK. Gotta hope MIL doesn't match

Knicks have been close to signing Sessions for weeks now. Donnie's been thinking about it so long, he probably fell asleep.

Wake Up Donnie!!!!!!!!!!

Not comparing this guy to Jerome at all but what scares me is that UK voted 31 to 15 in favor of the Jerome James signing. If we do indeed extend an offer sheet to Ramon, all of you should just vote against Ramon on purpose.

signing sessions would be dumb. wait till 2010 to get a better idea of what the roster is going to look like. why sign a guy that's shown something for 40 games instead of re-signing a guy like nate who's shown something the past few years? adding $6 mil to next year's cap is just stupid if walsh is all in for next july.

i disagree, plus if nate and lee are leaving you aren't really "adding" $6 mil to the cap. sessions is over half a foot taller than nate and much more of a legitimate point. nate is a nice player, but too much of a headcase to be a contributing player on a team with no real leadership. i think sessions flourishes with the d'antoni's reuniting with him, obvioulsy gotta hope chandler, the rooster, hill, and douglas (and i guess maybe even almond) shape up into some legit nba talent.

What keeps jumping out at me was how much better Duhon looked under MDA and he wasn't really supposed to be successful here at all, according to most opinions. He proved that he can't handle the starting job for an entire season, but he did actually play better than expected, so i've got a feeling Sessions could have a similar improvement. Heck MDA had a good effect on Nash too. I think if a player is smart and willing they will improve under MDA. So long as the player isn't a knucklehead and actually listens. I see Sessions as a guy that will listen.

Marc Stein reports that the Knicks are on the verge of making an offer to restricted free-agent Ramon Sessions. New York has all of its mid-level exception remaining and Donnie Walsh is reportedly prepared to give Sessions a longer-term contract with the aim of forcing the Bucks to let Sessions go.

"One trusted source insists that the Knicks believe they can extend Sessions far enough to dissuade Milwaukee from matching but without affecting their well-chronicled strategy to leave enough salary-cap space to recruit one maximum-salaried free agent in the summer of 2010," writes Stein.

The Bucks are competing with the Cavs and Sixers to sign forward Hakim Warrick.

End of the day today, I expect. Hopefully, the Bucks don't match.

the knicks are offering the first ever 25 year MLE contract. by the end of the deal, sessions will have a $237 mil cap hold.
