Hinrich comes to us if the Bullls take JJ. That adds about $2mm to our cap next year and we dont have a PG close to as good as Hinrich.

I dont think he would get venom because he scores, gets people involved and plays his ass off everynight on defense. I think Knick fans would be pretty pumped to see him.

That contract of Hinrich's is pretty nasty for his abilities. I do like Kirk as a player but is he not suited to play a slow half court offense? I don't see him racing up and down the court making quick decisions here and that's really what we need: A very quick decision maker at the point.

Getting rid of FishLips isn't enough to make this trade. Getting rid of Curry would be. If Hinrich doesn't work out for a team I think he's tradeable. So it's not that you get stuck with him it's does he fit the style of play? I don't know that he does.

Please post the source of your amazing information so I can show you D'Antoni's similar and probably better statistics.

Nice. I like how you didn't mention that one Avery 60-win season ended up with them getting eliminated by an 8th seed in the first round 4 games to 1.

D'Antoni now:

5 years in Phoenix: 253-136
2 60 win seasons
3 Division titles
2 WCF appearances

All I know is this:

1st in PPG in all seasons
No worse than 15th (average) in opponents FG percentage
2 of 4 seasons listed - finishes top 7 in 3 pt FG % against
No worse than 2nd in team FG %

Everything else to me is a worthless stat for a coaching record. Rebounding? FT %? I mean seriously, the coach is not out there playing. You can't coach someone to hit a FT in a game or grab a rebound, this is basic NBA stuff. Kind of grasping at straws, aren't we?
