there's not a huge difference between a team that overachieves to win 33 games and a team that underachieves to win 40 games. alot of games come down to the final 2 minutes...then key stops and key buckets determine the winner/loser. so wins/losses are not the best way to tell if a team gets better or not.

imho, 09/10 season is only about 1 thing and that's gallo...

I wouldn't put too much hope into that. Hill got murdered versus summer league talent and Darko hates life last time I checked.

And, honestly, why are we so obsessed with 2009/2010 season? This is a throw away year, thanks to Isiah Thomas, and thanks to Walsh being committed to finish cleaning up Isiah's mess. Who cares about Utah that pick was traded six years ago. Who cares about barely sneaking into the playoffs we have grander ideas in the works.

Fans need to settle down with going nuts over this offseason or this prospective upcoming season. It's a 35 win year at best and I'm fine with that keeping the bigger goal in my mind: To finish cleaning up Isiah's mess and throw our hat into the ring of the most anticipated free agent market in years.

You all looking to load up our cap with garbage like Iverson, Hinrich, and so on just so we can try to win 38 games and give Utah the 12th pick instead of the 8th pick? Have at it....but this fan isn't. Neither is Donnie I hope.
