This is either very disturbing or he is brilliant. He is really setting himself up for one of the most successful reality tv shows of all time.

There's definitely a method to his madness but IMO, it definitely leans to the former.

Stephon Marbury is turning into the Ultimate Warrior of the NBA, and by Ultimate Warrior, I'm talking about the wrestler and I'm not actually calling him a warrior.

Anything of substance which came from Marbury can be attributed to the fact that anyone talking for 24 hrs straight hours will come out with a few statements which seem well thought out. The whole idea of doing this thing was so self-indulgent, but what do you expect from this guy.

By the way, the Rose growing through the Concrete comment is simply another version of the "diamond in the rough" concept.

Anyone know how it ended and whether he eventually game back on after leaving the camera early in the morning?

There is advice that someone could have given Marbury prior to this embarrassment, although lets face it, Marbury has already said enough foolish things to put his reputation repair.

Of unknown origin (Lincoln? Samuel Johnson? Mark Twain?)but still good advice for many people, but especially Marbury:

Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

For Marbury, who said he saw Jesus in the shower the other day, a Biblical source of wisdom may be better:

Proverbs 17

Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.

If only he had read that Bible of his a little more closely.

I told him "where did you go for 3 hours? were you jacking off?" and he said "no I wasn't jacking off." LOL.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

As Stephon Marbury(notes) clung to that camera for most of those 24 hours, a lost soul spiraling within a voyeuristic ‘net culture, one longtime associate kept logging in and out of the video chat Friday and into Saturday morning.

“He’s lonely,” he told me. “This is sad to watch. I feel for him. Money doesn’t buy happiness.”

This is someone who has worked with Marbury in the past, who likes him and thinks there’s a lot of good amid the confusion and turmoil. Marbury is no longer an All-Star basketball player, but a journeyman trying to turn his fading fame into counterculture basketball celebrity. As his talent has rapidly decayed, his career bottomed out, Starbury’s appeal has been relegated to that of a peep show on the Internet. He’s turned himself into the radio station that you hear in the back of a taxi at 2 a.m.

More here.

I only tuned in twice for a few minutes each time. I thought it was disturbing, to be honest.

You got a problem? Obviously it wasn't that funny. I was just laughing at the fact he actually answers these questions seriously. I'm bored so I decided to watch this clown to entertain me for a bit. Take care now.

I like this quote from that article:
Everything is an epiphany for Starbury; everything a grand realization. Everything is a turning point in a life that never changes, that just gets spookier with the passing of time.

A problem? over the internet?? lol..no. You just come off real immature with these questions you're asking that former Knick player.

But whatever turns you on, i guess. I'll leave you to your Marbury stalking. Take care now.
