I didn't hear he would dominate SL but nice try there.

How has he done nothing of that sort in terms of athleticism and "getting after it"? Because he's not scoring? He hustles out there so yes he is "getting after it". And we have seen his athleticism quite a bit.

He is a project, end of story.

Criticize him if you want but I don't criticize rookies in SL, nor do I praise them. I wait a while before I label them a bust. Like at least one or two years. That is usually when raw players are going to start showing something or wont at all.

So we drafted an unskilled, lazy, overrated, project at #8? Destined to, if he ever "develops" be a backup PF? Wonderful...thanks for confirming my feelings on him so far.

Dude's not even 1/4th of what he was said to be and he's gotten absolutely SHAT on by Daye, Summers, McGee, and others. Stone hands. Slow. Lazy. Clueless. Raw. Project.

But, well, I guess I should lay off because "big men take time to develop" right?

This guy is a scrub right now plain and simple. No need to defend his complete lack of impressive play. Balkman had a much superior SL showing. That's just sad.

Honestly, I don't feel like arguing with you when you provide nothing and all you say is some baseless stuff. Do you really know anything about young players and developing players and rookies and all of that stuff? I guess every big man taken in the lottery is ready to play in the NBA. Give me a break already. Javale McGee - BRIGGS boy - sucked last year. What did he do that was so impressive? He didn't do anything in SL either. One year later he's having a more impressive SL and looks to have improved his skills. But of course you know all. Balkman > Hil.. Hill is a scrub. Might as well release him instead of wasting a roster spot.

The draft is weak. Weak. He was the BPA at that position. If you can't accept or handle that then I'm sorry. Stephen Curry sucked ass in SL too. I guess he should just go to the NBDL now.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Cosmic, you keep bringing the fact that he was the 8th pick. Get over it, this wasn't a regular draft were if they aren't future stars, at least the lottery players are NBA ready. Hill is a project and as one its pointless to analize his game like if what you see now is what you'll get the rest of his career. Forget if he was 8th. After #1, the rest in the draft are far from sure bets and NBA ready players. Hill will contribute when he is ready. He is already a Knick so let's hope for the best for him.

Then don't argue with me. Now it's that the draft is weak so Hill is fine? By saying that you're saying he's not good but it's okay. So then you agree with me that he's a mess out there?

The guy is nothing as advertised and is getting owned in SL play. This guy isn't a starting NBA PF. This guy used "being out of shape" as an excuse for stinking it up a few nights ago. This guy has gotten shat on by returning rookies and even new rookies to the game.

But, that's fine, it's just summer league and it was a weak draft.

This guy STINKS. We can't afford project players that might be backup PFs. I'm sorry.. but those calling him Wilcox 2.0 are spot on. Except that Wilcox showed more as a kid.

This MF'er better get his "out of shape" ass in gear this summer and come into camp with something to prove. He's a disaster....

Hill with a couple made jumpers in a row. And Washington defended him well.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

8th Picks ought to show more than their 29th pick counterparts, no? Okay, so the draft was weak, it's okay Hill is terrible? Come'on...why are we making excuses for him? Because the Knicks drafted him? Dude's a mess. We can't afford for yet another #8 pick to be a mess. Why defend him? Dude's lazy. Making Balkman's SL appearance look like the stuff of legends and we all know where that guy is now.

Hill needs to step his game up big time this summer. Otherwise I'm with everyone that called him Wilcox 2.0 and wondered why we didn't take a "risk" with #8 for one of the "malcontents". Well, I guess Hill was the risk, cause so far....I'd rather trade him for Wilcox.

hmmmm. 15 points on 6-11 with 2 straight jumpers since i've tuned in. and a quick deflection. good thing i don’t' have to rely on the spotty reporting of zero objectivity.

Hill looks good on his jump shot from 10 to 15 ft.

Anyway, Ahearn really sucks.

Ahack doesn't even deserve to be in a local rec league. How he even got a SL invite is beyond comprehension.

And, yes, Hill needs to REALLY pick his ass up and bust it hard this offseason or there will be a LOT of pissed off Knick fans come October if he's still playing like a SL scrub.

Wow, can't remember this much hate for a Knicks draft pick. Not even Sweetney, Lampe, Frye, Gallo.

And absolutely murdered defensively. I thought he was a defensive specialist? But, it's just zero objectivity. You got me. Here, I'll be positive.

It's just summer league. Big men take time to develop. Arizona is a good program. Alan Hahn said he's amazing in practice and we'd all be loving his "get after it" style of play. It's not his fault there's no floor spacing. It's not his fault Ahern sucks. Just wait! Kid is going to put the Knicks on his shoulders come October and score the ROY award for 09/10!

Is that better lol?

Seriously, again, for what had been said of this kid, I wonder if they even had the right kid in mind, or if we drafted the same kid or if he's hiding somewhere.
