The bottom line is this team has been garbage for years and if these two were worth what they believe they are we would have won more games. Fact is they aren't and they're learning that watching other players getting offers before them.

Deal with it I say.

I also say we all know Berman is a twat but to insinuate he's just making this up for the fun of it is probably off the mark. He's got no reason to do so. I also think this is leaked by Lee's agent given he sure has presented himself as a moron as of late.

at this point i can easily see these 2 guys ending up signing a Q.O. & bolting via free agency next season & us getting nothing in return.

if they sign a QO then they gain veto rights over any trade... so basically if it reaches that point they'll pretty much wanna stick it to the Knicks & bolt cuz their Bird Rights are rendered void & we can no longer go over the cap to sign & trade them, which means MLE level contracts at most (unless i'm understanding this wrong, you capologists can feel free to correct me if i'm wrong here)

In other words, Knicks don't even need Lee or Nate. It says alot that they are even still talking. Some teams out there are in the media saying straight up that talks are dead and they could possibly start up again. That's blatant disrespect....but no...Berman with the Post has to write garbage to stir up whoever still reads the NY Post...

Lee should take the ****ing money Donnie is offering and done!!! If he wants slightly more than Milsap then fine...maybe 500k more a season? Thats it!!! Thats his market. Anything more that that is bad business...and if David's agent feels his client should get more, then stop ****ing with the Knicks and have his player go elsewhere. Simple as that.

His agent keeps using the fact that he led the league in double doubles as a bargining chip. 12 mill for a player who didn't make an allstar team, wasnt even mention as" A most improve canidate " and has been on a complete laughing stock team since he came into the league.

Berman pose the question to lee during a phone interview, do feel disrespected a little..

Exactly. It is amazing that people get caught up with word play. People did not hear Lee or Nate make these comments nor have they read a direct quote from either of these players. Yet they are the bad guys. Welcome to journalism 101. Use key words to excite the reader. "Disrespect" was use for a reason. What is worse is the fact that whether Lee or Nate make a comments like this or have a news conference they still get treated the same. The media is the master of telling TRUE LIES. What would be the tone if we had a superstar player and he did not want to resign with the Knicks and Donnie Walsh said, "He feels disrespected" Would fans be mad at the player or the Knicks president? Would people look at it as business is business?
