It was intentionally of a different person - read what was posted - she is "a" Christine Mendoza. This was from a google search done in good faith of "Christine Mendoza"; it appeared that the girl shared the same name as well as an exaggerated version of Mendoza's over-exposed look. You may be right that the girl's name is Francine Whatever (I have no interest in verifying this). But it's irrelevant to the spirit of parody in which it was posted. A similar parody that makes it funny to see candid, unflattering shots of some of these beautiful women, who are otherwise revered for their looks. Again, to me, the Phillipino comment speaks to your lack of understanding of why the picture was posted. Which is why I asked about it.
Listen, I'm not trying to bust your balls and I'm sure your initial intentions were clean; but your reactionary defense is getting aggravating. So, to steal one of your lines, recognize when you've made a mistake. The cancer story is, of course, relevant here because of the massive puclicity the story received. Mine was a visceral response; I found nothing funny about what you posted. Cancer can destroys your looks, your energy and your life; jeering at the remains of that devastation is something that many can take personally. In other words, the fact that your pictures of Fawcett can be interpreted hurtfully by anyone whose appearance has been savaged by illness is a probable event and, hence, important to guard against. On the other hand, the individual images of Fawcett, Mendoza, and Dee, all of whom will likely never be visiting this site, are relatively minor if not entirely meaningless concerns; the STD jungle joke is therefore benign and actually quite funny. Any further inference that women, whose careers revolve around the production of highly sexually charged material, are more likely to be promiscuous is one that I'm willing to defend. Hopefully, you understand the significant difference between what you and I posted.
