Drafting is a tough business, but I feel confident in Walsh's judgement. These guys have solid talent and seem to be guys that get after it and fit our style of play. A guy like Jennings to me would be a return to the kind of clowns we've had too many of. I want things to be about BB again and no more tabloid nonsense.

I like the disposition of the players we have been adding. They're serious and respectful. They aren't trouble makers and all seem very coachable. Gallo, Chan, Hill, TD and maybe even Almond seem to be good kids that we can get behind.

The psychological scars of the Marbury years may have played a part in passing on Jennings.
One of the reasons I was a fan of playing Steph and rehabbing Marbury's image was to start to dissipate the myth you can't win with brash guys who play with an ego. Its the same premise that has what Nate brings to the court being completely marginilized in the NY sports world. I fear the Knicks will go far out there way to avoid controversial players and we will once again see a return to the Latter Day Knicks.

We don't have the coaching persona to take a Jennings. Coughlin can add Ahmad Bradshaw and all people see is the talent. Jennings brought here under MDA and all people would see is Marbury.
