One of the reasons I was a fan of playing Steph and rehabbing Marbury's image was to start to dissipate the myth you can't win with brash guys who play with an ego. Its the same premise that has what Nate brings to the court being completely marginilized in the NY sports world. I fear the Knicks will go far out there way to avoid controversial players and we will once again see a return to the Latter Day Knicks.
I think that's exactly it. We have to change the culture so unfortunately we have to pass on talented guys with attitudes in the short term. We can revisit guys like this when we are on the right track, but in the meantime we are far to fragile. Can't afford to be in the tabloids again.
