let me just add that Spree hit 2 shots to win the game agaisnt the kings..finished with 37pts, 5assits, 5 rebs

We already know that there's no reason to compare Spree to KVH. Now they gotta keep the ball outta KVH's hands unless he's open for a shot. Spree passes and defends well and creates his own shot.

I am referring to Coach Chaney, not Chaney the old Celtics player (just makin' sure YOU aren't watching too much ESPN Classic).

Im just glad he did not blow up Dice's knee.

Dolan got what he wanted, interest back in the team by fans.

I still think it will take 20 games to get this right.

Idea is to be in overdrive by seasons end, and we got 3/4's of season to go.

Have some imagination, not keep restating the sins of the past. thats not denial, just looking ahead. Its great we got leads, now we need to learn to put the heal on the other teams throat and keep it there.

hey, it may not happen, then we get a better pick, keep dumping the bloated, and in two years it will look different. Two years is a long time, but thats life.

Stuck in this ridiculous blizzard of '03 I can look forward to 2 great games this weekend. Knicks vs. Warriors and Giants vs. Redskins! It really sucks being a New York fan this year.

There is a reason for me to be optimistic. Dice was awesome last night. He only played 20 minutes and scored 14 points and all of them were meaningful, needed baskets. He looked quick and seems to have reflexes back to an extent. Maybe on this year but things look good for next year. Where is the optimist when we need him!

You all notice how quiet Playa is now! What a front runner. Like I said before the Charlotte game, NY will be 8-15 after this road trip. Right now, it is very possible they will be 7-16! they have GS, Utah and LA left at 7-13! The whole team is healthy. Dice looks great and still they are losing..........

The fact that Layden and Dolan support Chaney so much, proves their ineptness as well.

In the NBA, the best place to be is either contending for a title OR contending for the number one pick. In the middle, which is where NY is, is the worse place to be.

Watch out for the Grizzlies now. Look at Denver! I bet Dice wishes he was in Denver now!

I think there is another place which is a good place to be and thats the 'rebulding phase' place but the problem is Chaney and Layden. Layden brings in people like Shandon Anderson, Howard Eisley and signs Clarence guarantying salary cap problems forever and Chaney is forced to play them because they are getting paid so much money.

Of course we all know this but there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. The saddest part, is that I still have faith and watch all games and waste 2.5 hrs 3 times a week and everytime at the end of games when they lose I think, why do I waste my time with them? Why should I care if the management does not!? If only I wasn't a knick fan!

or if only we could fast forward to the next decade. Maybe we'll have a real organization.

Layden made stupid mistakes by bringing in spoon, anderson and eisely's contracts. but since then he's improved. Getting Dice, drafting good young talent and picking up mutombo. The biggest problem right now is the coach. Why does Chaney have to play the same unsuccessful people over and over, costing us game after game.
