philly board on realgm was mostly pro holiday's overall performance giving him a pass on his o numbers since phi-nj are doing the mix squad no real sets thing in Orlando.

He's pick 17--what are they going to say? To me the PG is the guy who sets the tempo and he couldnt set any tempo he couldnt shoot and played out of control. I mean he wasnt very productive at UCLA--why would he be productive in the pros in year 1? It wasnt a lack of PT--he just wasnt that great. He's got the size moxy and defensive skills to have a possible Chauncey Billups type career--kind of bumble around for 2-4 years before finding his game. He's going to have to be judged after multi years

Also for example of PG play AJ Price pick 52 played the game much better than Holiday--he might not be as physically talented but he knows how to play. He knows the pick and roll--he knew when to pass and when to shoot--a big part of being the PG is knowing what to do on the court--setting the tempo and putting the ball where it needs to go. Indiana was 4-0 because they were the smartest team out of the 6--that and Hibbert Tyler H were very rough inside.

I didn't see the same things he did. actually, I think JRue is overdribbling and his shot is terrible so far....

DUDS: New Sixers coach Eddie Jordan was the first to say he wasn’t very comfortable at all with the idea of combining players from Philadelphia and New Jersey, and it’s easy to see why now. The Nets/Sixers team is 0-4 and has been hardly competitive so far. Marreese Speights

Can't think of a worse idea when trying to build and evaluate young players.

It was an awful team to watch--an embarrassment for the NBA even if it's SL. I can't go into how bad that team was. Maybe that skewed some of the players performances. Derrick Brown played on Utah's team but the team was coached well organized and competitive

I don't know what he has been watching but Jrue Holiday has been brutal running his team. His 14 TO vs. 12 assists and 30 % shooting and teams 0-4 record should give a clue.

Yeah from the other reviews I read him and Maynor are having a rough time showing that they are ready to run a team. I'm not that surprise by Holiday because he is young but Maynor is shocking.

Just from looking at the boxscores, Maynor has done great, but like I said that's just from looking at the boxscores. I believe his A/TO is 11/4 which ain't bad. 8ppg, 4rpg as well. I dunno, that seems pretty good to me.

I think he exploded for one of his last games in assists but was quiet in his first two games. I think the reviewer was shock about his turnovers given his experience and resume. I saw another review that blamed his troubles on his teammates for not completing plays. Unfortunately, I can't watch these damn games to tell for myself. Are the games on the NBA channel?

I'm not trying to be a dick, but I gotta protect my boy! lol. He had two games of 4 assists and one of 3. I'm not sure what channel these games are on either, whatever it is, I don't have it haha. Too bad, I was hoping to watch him.

Oh, I really like Maynor too. I still think he can step in a run a team. I just don't like the fact that he landed with a team that has a young star at the position on it.

True. He has problem with later quickness but his game and Hilbert's have been the difference in the game so far.
