Who comes off the bench? Zbo, Thabeet or Gasol?

Thabeet. I can't see them starting him and Marc Gasol together.

Though I wonder what happens to Hakim Warrick.
They will surely get some blocks, but they (you can add Zach, too) are going to be like the ents from The Lord of the Rings in terms of speed and reaction on offense and defense.

That is a photo of Senator Al Franken you are using. I'm not sure, but you may have just committed treason.

Pretty shocking actually. I see their perspective, Zach gives them O and rebounding and Lee is mostly the latter, though he gets some points up close. Just hard to believe their is still a market for him and his contract.

So, Detroit has Villanova, Memphis has Zach. Who is left? Portland??? And the list dwindles...
This could be nice, we can sign Lee to a smaller contract which also makes him easier to move...

Oh and to the poster who mentioned Memphis moving Gasol for financial reason. eheheheh Yeah, this is one for Stern...

Memphis had to trade Gasol for financial reasons but can take on Zach's contract? That is another question that I don't think Stern would answer without finding away to fine whoever asked it.

Jerry West traded Pau Gasol to the Lakers as a "salary dump." Mm hmm.

Well this is good because it does take away an option for Lee's agent. I have actually thought about if giving Lee the money he wants, and combining with Mobley's insured contract for Chris Bosh. Maybe.

And I just wonder if we could have traded Eddy Hamburger Curry for Darko, if he averaged more than 1 point and 1 rebound last year. Im praying for 16 and 6 early on, and trade his worthless "Isiah is going to make Jermaine O' Neil out of me" ass. Well, not his fault, but ya know.

It isn't as crazy at it may seem, because if Lee isn't staying here then toronto is one of the two remaining teams with cap space that supposedly want him. Maybe Lee, Mobley and Chandler for Bosh, who knows.

When did Chandler become the guy that you just throw into trades? If it is Toronto, Colangelo would want Gallinari not Chandler. Euro North and all.

Seriously...if you can get Zach for a little more than what Lee is asking for then you pretty much need to go for Zach since Zach is the superior offensive talent, and would at least punch a mofo in the jaw if they got outta line compared to the "jazz hands" Lee gives you.

Time to not give Walsh any credit for his moves then. Because we didn't need any more players on the roster we needed a second round pick that probably would have got us Douglas anyway, and didn't need to make an in season trade for no reason last year.

And this only confirms that half of the panel can be gm's. You give up gasol because you want to save money and you bring in this guy? The nba front office positions are just disgraceful.

Memphis is going to give teams trouble next year. They had trouble scoring easy buckets last year.

Going to be be a VERY good NBA season next year.

People need to remember Gasol just didn't want to be in Memphis which is also part of the reason he was traded.

You also remember that five teams could have actually given them core building blocks and memphis rushed to give a second team all nba player away for his brother and an expiring deal.

I'm not sure why people think zach is overated. I mean who wants kaman, and camby on the grizz??? LC had to do what they had to do to free up space on the floor.

Nothing for Stern to investigate here. Memphis did need to trade Gasol as a salary dump.

How else could they have cleared salary space for Zach?

Memphis actually has a much more balanced team than us right now. For all his faults, Z-bo is a solid rebounder and can put up points. MDA was actually getting him to pass a little when he was here. In memphis, Z-bo can shoot all he wants because he does not have to share touches with Thabeet. Mayo and Gay can score on the perimeter and by slashing. Z-bo can work the paint. If they can figure out a way to play decent team defense, Memphis might actually make the playoffs next year.

People will always say that ZBo can score, rebound, all that, and they continue to give him the benefit of the doubt. But the fact is that he stinks. His BRAIN IS A LOSING BRAIN, you ZBo lovers need to understand that. HE WILL ALWAYS BE A LOSER, ANY TEAM THAT ADDS HIM, LOSES.

He is like the newest version of Shareef Abdur-Rahim.
