Ray Felton isn't worth slicing into the 2010 plan for but Knicks brass feel Seesions is?
If Walsh can’t land Kidd, the Knicks would pursue Milwaukee restricted free agent guard Ramon Sessions, who once played summer ball in South Carolina for Knicks assistant coach Dan D’Antoni.

I can't understand it.

how about this... how about you compare the 2 players for us and find out why. And also note that this is just speculation from a beat writer.

Height, passing mentality, shooting %, overall game.

Felt is a 6'1 200 Sessions is a 6'3 190.

Sessions takes less contested shots but Felton can hit the 3 and Ramon can't.

Court vision is equal. Sessions takes less risks handling the ball.

Defensively Felt is better.

Felton is faster with the ball end to end and in the halfcourt and is the better athlete.

which one is better in the MDA offense?

and what the heck does "Sessions takes less contested shots" mean?

1. Felton is better in the MDA philosophy. He is faster with the ball, won't tire out, and has 3 range.

2. Bucks had players that could space the floor.
the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

that's not my take. I think Sessions is a better fit.

1) His M.O. is that he is a pass-first player, much more so than Felton. And that Felton is more of a half-court PG.

2) So, I guess I gave you the opportunity to qualify both players' shooting percentages but you kinda failed there. Felton SUCKS at the 3-point shot, shooting a career 30% while having his % drop over the past 2 seasons to 28%. And his overall FG% is at 40%. SUCKS. Sessions shot 34 3-point shots last year, hitting only 6. Pretty poor, but his overall FG% is 44%. So, is this a player who can't shoot (esp 3-pointers) or a player who knows his game and stuck to it? Realistically, Sessions only has played 1 year and we can prob assume his shooting will get better; don't know about Felton.

3) if you wanna say that Sessions had players that could space the floor, than I say Felton had players that could space the floor. Raja, Boris, Augustin.

What does "Sessions takes less contested shots" mean? That he is a better decision maker when it comes to shooting?

I don't watch enough Bobcat games to comment on Felton but I'm pretty open to anyone.

Feltons efg is 43.5% Sessions is 44.9%. Not that big of difference. 19% of Felts shots came with the clock under 4 seconds and only 10% of sessions did. Shooting with 11-15 secs left in the shot clock Felts efg was 52.6%. RSessions was 42%. SSOL will produce a ton more shots in the 11-15 range.

Once Diaw settled into his role Felton became bettr percentage wise. In the 30 games post all-star Felt was up to 43%. 15ppg and 7 assts.

post all-star for Sessions he had to shoot more and his shooting numbers dipped to 43.6% in 27 games. No Bogut and Redd to play off of hurt him.
