I wouldnt have picked him--I wouldve taken Dejuan Blair. Lets see who is the superior player. My point is 6-2 combo guards can be had very late in the draft or perhaps not drafted at all and we didnt take the BPA and the money was not spent wisely.

If people who do this for a living would like to bet me who is going to be a better NBA basketball player Dejaun Blair or Toney Douglas--let me know .

Any takes on Blair versus Douglas? Do the math and watch and learn.

Dude Blair doesn't have acl's.

--> McClinton is too small to play the defense Walsh is looking for- and this is probably what Walsh found out when he had McClinton come in to play Holiday shortly before the draft.

what? how much physical difference between the players? this is ridiculous.

And Derrick Brown wouldve been a great choice if Walsh didnt screw up the Washington trade

I would have taken Brown, and maybe even Summers, over Blair at 29 if we had made the Washington trade. The Knicks want length and guys who can get up the court, and the if a player doesn't have that, they only make the team if they are sharpshooters.

And how do you know what the Knicks saw in the workouts they held? You can't accuse Walsh/MDA of not seeing players in person this year. You also can't accuse them of taking a guy who was "damaged goods," a popular expression used to describe last year's pick. Blair's injuries are well documented, and he has never played an 82+ game season, has he?

I also read a report that Holiday has a shoulder issue which may someday require attention- maybe they passed on him because of that, among other reasons.

I like Blair- and I hope that things turn out OK for him, but there were better guys for us to pick than him at 29.
