Rubio's gonna be a Knick IMO... all the pieces seem to fit... MIN needs a wing, we can offer them Chandler... we need a PG, they can offer Rubio... we give them back Douglas to be Flynn's backup... that also frees up more minutes for Gallinari.

maybe Mobley's contract comes into the equation here too, who knows... we can take an expiring off their hands like Brian Cardinal & maybe Brewer since he's been sort of a disappointment for MIN & still get Rubio in that deal IMHO.

1) I think Minny acquired the 5 pick to get Rubio, knowing the Knicks were trying to get the 5 pick to do the exact same thing. They already had the 6 pick and knew they had to move up to get him.

2) I have no idea why Minny took Rubio and Flynn. Neither can play the 2. They have to be moving one- if not they are just nutty.

3) It doesn't make any sense that Minny would trade Rubio to the Knicks if they moved ahead of the Knicks to select him.

4) In the end I feel Rubio will be a T'Wolf, but not this year. Hill and Flynn will stay with their respective teams in the meantime.

I think Flynn was Minny's 2nd or 3rd choice behind Curry. Someone must have misplaced the cue card before handing it to Stern.
