Flynn's measurements can't be right...it doesn't make sense.
man... year after year I watch guys gush over these numbers, and year after year you see these great horses like QWoods, DStevenson, Gerald Green, on and on fizzle and fade.

I hope we find a good basketball player at 8 and not just a great athlete.

Durant - only b/c he couldnt bench 185

In general, the guys with the longest arms should not do as well on the bench press.

That makes sense. They have to lift them that much higher on each rep.

We can command our own destiny. If we take Mullens our frontline will be

7-1 260
6-9 245
6-10 245

with multi dimensional skills from the inside to the outside. Fastest way to get better is to build the frontline up--in this draft--we can find a guy like Teague with second pick--it's not necessary to use it on a PG up top when there are PG's all through the first round. If you look at the playoffs--really its all of the big and or intermediate players having the impact.

I don't think Evans will be at 8 and Mullens makes the most sense.

I'm not so sure the Knicks are even inclined to take Evans if he is there at 8.

he's not a good enough shooter.

Any chance Jordan Hill drops?

When you look at a players height on espn or nba.com or whatever, they give you the height with shoes, right?

I believe the nba official measurements are taken without shoes. Then 1 inch is added. This gets around the fact some shoes add more height than others. So with that system, Lawson's nba height will be 6'1".

Ahhh, ok, I see. Thanks Ira.

i can see him dropping to us but i think Walsh is taking Curry regardless of who drops unless we're talking Rubio or Griffin.

isn't this our favorite yearly game?

2 things are guarenteed at this point:

1. we don't get mullens

2. briggs treats us to a year of mullens' statline threads.

i can't wait!

I watched both days of the combine... way too much time on my hands.

I tell you what. Holiday would not be a bad pick. He's soooo much bigger than the other PG's and he looks smooth, was draining shots from all over. I would be more than happy to end up with him.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

DeRozan is not working out with anyone. He isn’t going up against Gerald Henderson or anyone else at this point. He may not even go to Toronto. He won’t fall to 9
.”
Curry is getting love from teams as high up as Washington and also has a chance to be drafted 6th (Minnesota) or 7th (Golden State). While the Knicks clearly like him, he isn’t the only player they will consider—the other top candidates on their board currently appear to be Tyreke Evans and Jrue Holiday

I would like Holliday to the guy he took over the PG duties from at UCLA - Russell Westbrook.

Knicks should be smart & trade up to #5 & take Derozan if teams like WAS & MIN are high on Curry.

Westbrook? Really? Isn't he fairly avg athletically whereas Westbrook is a "lights out" athlete?

There is a strong possiblity that thabeet falls and derozan falls because stephen curry is on rise with his draft stock. I think thabeet falls because there are rumors he likes to party a lot so some teams probally will not take a change on him. I also believe the thunder will take james harden or derozan because they need a two guard badly because durant at shooting won't work in the long run.

Holiday is not nearly as explosive at Westbrook... i liken Holiday to Smush Parker right now... he's got long arms & pretty nice hops & athletic ability & uses his tools well to defend guys, but he's not especially explosive going to the rack & his J is inconsistent.

The Durant at 2 experiment died when they fired Carlesimo

Thabo starts the 2 and they moved Durant to 3.

The real problem is Jeff Green at 4. He is too small to effectively guard that position. He gets abused.
