I will tell you I think Blake Griffin is one of the most under rated top choice I can remember. This guy is a 10 foot jumpshot away from being Karl Malone 2. When is the last time a PF came into the league at 6-10 260 with his athletic ability agility and ballhandling skills? No he cant block shots like Dwight howard but he does EVERTHING else better or just as good as Dwight. He's going to be on par as a top 3 rebounder but he can actually handle the ball great for a big man-- he has agility with the ball and he has moves that Dwight does not have. This guys can be a 24-15 PF in this league--a guy who can really change a franchise. A little more focus on defense and the mid range and this guy is going to be great. He's a franchise player.

anyone who is "predicting" the lottery and thinks they have insight is FAR more dellusional than trevor ariza ever was with larry brown.

And probably even more delusional than Larry was with Trevor!

Just did the ESPN mock lotto. On my FIRST click, the Knicks got #2... man we need this so bad.

I am officially not watching the draft tonight - I will check our position on UK later in the evening. I will be honest, I am a really superstitious person and every time I have watched nothing good has happened. I would rather not watch it and we get a top 3 then watch and see the Knicks fail to get a top pick again.

Good luck tonight!

Who could forget 's reaction to us falling to the 6th pick after having the 5th seed.

Let's not have a repeat this year.

Oh shizat, and didn't Russel Westbrook go number 5? People who say that Stern is gonna fix anything for us, up to this point have not seen our lotto luck since Ewing. We have nobody helping us.

Westbrook went 4 and my heart sank to my shoes. Love went 5.

and mayo...

think about how crap it was that we went on the win streak at the end of the year, losing the 4 spot.

if we had gotten it, and even if chi-town got the #1 pick, we would have had the #5 choice, and could have done the exact same deal of love for mayo.

the issue about the win streak and how that made us just miss out on all of the top players we coveted (not saying gallo won't live up just yet) says a lot about what is wrong with the nba's lotto and cba, to me.
Forum Po Po and #33 for a reason...

Here is a clip that shows why Blake G is so special. Notice in play 1 just how fast he is able to take his post move and strike at the basket using the dribble and a very quick long first step. This is a mirror image of Amare Stoudemire albeit Blake is a bigger guy. Second clip--his incredible ballhndling package for a 6-10 post player. He picks up the ball 3/4 court and advances it quickly up court with the dribble to finish the play over a smaller defender. Third--shows intelligence aggression agility and skill where he finds the rbeound--is able to use his agility and dribble to reset in the corner and uses his basketball IQ to understand that he can attack and finish as the defensive team has a momentary lapse.

Why is the guy so good--it's pretty simple--hes faster bigger and more agile and athletic than ANY PF in the NBA right now and what separates him is his ability to use the dribble with those physical skills. When he is able to consistently knock down a 12 footer to go along with what he has---he will be impossible to stop. There is no other player in this draft that is even close to what he is---not only is he NBA ready but he comes in as a top 3 physical specimen along with Howard and James.

i agree w/BRIGGS, Griffin is as explosive as any F in the game when he takes off for the rim... the only problem he has is he needs to work on his perimeter game, but once he gets that down he'll be a nightmare to guard... this kid is gonna be a star & you'd have to be crazy not to pick him #1 in this draft. (i don't see no Karl Malone career out of him like BRIGGS does, but i think he's gonna be an Allstar w/in a year or 2)

If they get #1 they still won't take him. No helping this franchise because it is damned no matter who is running it.

I won't be Layden anymore. Planning on taking a 7'6 foot center only to end up with a broken down "saviour". No more.
