biedrins blocks some shots, i think.

funny you bring up lee shooting threes. i think that this is something he can and should work on. imagine if he can knock down some treys next year? whole new dimension to our club.

?? Ming didn't play, he was injured. In the one game that Yao played he was still hurt and Scola handle Lee defensively for most of the game. Who would you rather have, King1, Lee or Pau? If you go by just PPG and RPG, it's a pretty close matchup but you'd have to go with Lee.

Gasol is a much better player but he would get roasted in New york because he isnt a thug with zero offensive skills. Gasol is too soft to play inside to UK fans. Lee was the first option on offense this year and still had a great year. BTW he wasnt the worst defensive player on the team. Please look at see what no name perimter players did against us

What separates Lee from his peers is physical toughness. Lee will not be out worked but he will be bullied and embarrassed on the defense. If the guy took charges, and defended the lane nobody would be complaining.....

And you are right about the perimeter guys not doing their job.....but you are taking away the fact that Lee lets everybody sail inside uncontested. Not just guards. Everybody. Lee's idea of playing defense is showing his "Jazz hands".

Since you know David personally....hit him up and tell him that. We all appreciate what he brings but truth be told he would get bullied in the playoffs that we are watching this year.

I wish the Knicks had real vets around David when he came in to show him what I mean. You know King, I appreciate your contribution to the forum...but you sound like a yes man. Why don't you be real and admit the dudes flaws and since you coached him and are in contact still, let him know what he needs to do instead of gassing his head up.

because he's not a thug? what does that mean King? u don't think "thugs" have been roasted in NY over the years? what's a thug to you? was Zach Randolph a thug or no? Marbury? i'm not sure i know what you're talking about, cuz neither of those guys played any defense but both guys were roasted in NY & neither guy was soft... Allan Houston was considered soft by many but he was pretty well liked in NY... Charlie Ward wasn't exactly "thuglike" but he was 1 of my favorites... ur oversimplyfing Knick fans & generalizing w/no real evidence to support ur claims here... people LIKE David Lee in NY... get it? they like him... they cheer for the dude at every game... people only wanna trade him because of the cap ramifications... it's OK to point out a players' weaknesses & faults... that doesn't mean u can't stand those players... u really gotta take a step back & try not to take everything so personal.

How many players get face guarded so they dont get a rebound on our team? The reason we got wide open three is because teams tried to stop the pick and roll and that left the wing wide open. A team is going to let a guy that shoots 40-45 percent beat them before a guy that shoots over 50%. Lee was the best player on a team that improved this year and they will make the playoffs next year

I never got the single player fanboys. I've seen ones for Crawford and even Balkman and now I see one for Lee. I root for the jersey, not the player. And I'm not blind to see that David Lee just isn't that good. Are we sure there isn't some kind of family relation between King and David Lee?

Well it will be funny when MDA and Walsh resign Lee and proclaim him a building block of the franchise and I can listen to all you bitch when Nate is playing for a MLE in Sacramento and Lee is getting 10 per year in NYC.
