Rubio and Tyreke Evans[if you consider him a viable PG]

I think it's clearly Johnny Flynn. He plays longer and bigger than Ty Lawson--he is cat quick and incredibly strong getting into the lane at will--he's a lockdown defender. He's got great vision ball handling skills and body control. His jumpshot is average but his form is solid. He's a tad small but otherwise I think his game might translate to the pros better than the other options--especially in higher tempo action.

hmm, who do you think the Knicks should draft if both Evans, and Flynn are unavailable? My answer to
this question used to be Willie Warren until he went back to school.

With Rubio in that kind of sends the list down the pile 1 notch. I think that the top 4 will be Hill Griffin Rubio Thabeet so 2 of the next 3 players would have to be Evans and Derozan for one of them not to get to 8. I think because Earl Clark is 6-9 ish that he also might be in that top 7--so it's going to be close. I think the guy who may have lost position is Harden.

Yes, I know that this guy does not figure into our long-term future and he does not turn around the team, but Does the Knicks interest in Carlos Cabezas tell us anything at all about what we might be thinking of doing in this draft?

I thought about that....

Does it mean there is going to be an all-out push for Rubio and Cabezas is being considered to ease his transition instead of Steve Nash?

Does it mean that they are going to look to use Cabezas as a stop gap for the PG for the short term (either as a replacement for Duhon or to share responsibility with him equally) while the Knicks use their assets to pursue a big man (Bosh?)

Im not against the idea if it means brining in a new face for small $$, at this point, I'm willing to give just about anybody a chance if it factors into the 2010 big picture

Briggs - I'm curious of your thoughts on Earl Clark. Before this season, I thought he was going to be a sure-fire lotto pick, but it seemed like he regressed this year. He definitely does a little of everything, but he doesn't do anything particularly well. I do think he has a ton of potential that if untapped could end up with Scottie Pippen type results, but I'm not so sure we'll ever see it.

Yeah, I agree. I have a feeling some GM is going to be in love with his athleticism though and pick him a bit too high.
