I'm so glad I changed my pick to a loss on game picker. Question is- will they maintain this blow out, or close to 6-10

Screw it, I want the team to go after Nash and Marion and draft a guy like DeRozan and hope there's a decent player available in the second round and pray Gallo recovers and can still stroke it and Chandler gets consistent. I'm so sick and tired of this crap

Dude, you left out Lee and Nate. Don't you know you're watching the makings of a championship club with those guys as the centerpieces?

Those guys have to be re-signed at all costs. Just give them blank checks and start building a big trophy case.

I know... I didn't watch a game last season because I couldn't support it... I tried watching this year because of the new front office and the new coach. Bottom line is games are won and lost by the players and they are all incredibly soft. I have hope for Gallo and Chandler because (I think) they haven't been infected as losers... but if Nash (if he gets bought out) and Marion are available cheap, I want them to reunite with and move forward. What about trading David Lee, Nate Robinson, Wilson Chandler, the pick for Melo Anthony and Linas Kleiza? Nash, Kleiza, Marion, Anthony, Jeffries and Gallo, Duhon, and Harrington off the bench? edit: forgot about Hughes too

Marion sucks dude. Get out of town. That guy blows and his career is on a downward spiral. Nash is also on his last legs. We got one more year till 2010. I think you can wait it out a little more.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

It must be nice to have a rookie center that already demands double teams and knows how to find the open man.

All right, let him come off the bench then.

I was willing to let it slide for a long time, but they really ****ed that pick up. Anthony Randolph or Eric Gordon would have been acceptable too

This is inexcusable. Clearly we didn't take the Nets seriously and we got lit up by Gimpsanity and 2 rooks.

I think any chance at a tiebreaker with the Nets is also history since they have a much better divisional record than we do.

Absolutely pathetic in the 2nd half. 70%+ shooting by a team 24th in the league in FG%

pathetic game. herb at the half - "we need to be more energetic." really? we're playing for a playoff spot and not coming out with enough effort? i can understand if our shots just aren't falling, but not enough effort? that's crap.

Knicks management bypassed both Bynum and Lopez for finesse players--they can only cry on their own arms

You just saw how important Gallo is to the Knicks. They absolutely suck without Gallo. This team looked like a team without a future especially without Gallo.

Yep. But you could say that about a lot of other players without chronic back issues too. Look at last year's draft, there's a lot of quality players available. The medical staff Isiah Thomas put together sucks (suprise, suprise) and Old Man River didn't do his job in that regard. This wasn't a giant mystery. Had Donnie looked at newspaper clippings from the past couple years, that much would have been obvious.

Yeah I saw thatGallinari wouldve held Lopez to 13 and lit him up for 38

So you are saying that Lee's defense is atrocious yet you're the same guy who wants to give him $8-$10 million a season.

Nothing like that BRIGGS. Without Gallo the future of the Knicks just look gloomy. I know you aren't a fan of the kid but he was still a decent player for the Knicks hell he was their best shooter and probably their smartest player.

David Lee is a PF--Knicks have had their opportunity to get a C and good ones and they bypassed. What does that have to do with David Lee?

What? David Lee gets owned by everyone from Leon Powe to Anderson Varejao. There were times tonight when even Yi was cloning him. Who cares that he's a PF? He got owned by Lopez did he not? Was that performance worthy of the money you want to give him Mr. Superior Basketball Talent Evaluator?
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Gallo played 28 games and he only played 14 minutes a game. He showed some strengths but also showed some incredible weaknesses that he can hopefully overcome in the future. But to say that the Knicks suck without Gallo doesn't make sense. He might be the guy that you get excited to watch but his impact on team success this year has been minimal. The 08 draft had so much talent. The Gallo pick was a mistake even if he was healthy. There are so many great success stories from the first round of the 08 draft. There are also players who have shown flashes of tremendous potential. The Knicks messed up and they did not lose tonight because they didn't have Gallo. I can't imagine what would be written here if Gallo put together a run in his 14 minutes like Lopez did tonight.

The sad thing about DLee is he probably can cover centers better than an athletic pf. I personally would trade him for an athletic pf with shot blocking capabilities.
