Here's a question:

Ramon Sessions or Steve Nash? You can only pick one for the MLE this off-season. Who do you pick? Or you can say neither and wait for the class of 2010.

I am not sold on Sessions, IMO. But signing Nash means they speed up "the plan" and we try to move to contender status early-like Maybe trying to trade for Melo using Lee and Nate.

Are Melo and Nash even much better than Nate and Lee over the next five years? I don't know about that. I'd like to add Nash or Sessions to Lee and Nate, add a great pick in the 2009 draft and be flexible enough to make a KG type trade for a superstar in 2010.

Nash is 34? 35? Sessions is 22. Depends what you're playing for, I guess.

if the suns release nash, without getting anything in return, they will lose 50% of their season subscriber base...

Kerr says, I don't give a F. It's my team damnit.

From what I've followed, Kerr's GMing strategies seem very questionable.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

5 years is a bit too long for a guy his age, but you could see him coming here to reunite with MDA for 2-3 years (team option on 3rd year?) and he would be a perfect mentor for Tyreke Evans or any other PG we pick up in this draft.

Yeah, we couldn't sign him to a 5 year contract this year because of the over 36 rule-- the final 2 years of the contract will be included pro-rata into the first. I could see a 3 year deal at the MLE. If Nash is going to do this, it won't be about the money. I'd like to see Kidd in blue and orange though.

Good point on that soccer thing. Soccer plays can run forever, in time and in age, and in space. I think that Barbosa is the Suns' future, and Nash will be gone soon. Plus, Nash's locker room presence is not to be ignored. He can only serve to reinforce D'Antoni's championship vision.
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.
My bet--Steve Nash will be a Knick
