Does JustDanceTony have a major mancrush on his skinny Eyetalian, or does he just hate N8 that much? Gallo's been his best player the last couple of weeks? Really? Best at what? Deranged hand signals that make everyone miss LJ? I think N8's even got more rebounds than Gallo during the same time span.
They CANNOT make Mr. One Trick Pony Houston the face of the franchise over Spree. The fact that it's even a question is deranged. I want the names of the 11 people on the decision board.
Deranged: word of the day, kids.
What? You call out of control Nate the best player? This guy is a ballhog to the 100th degree and more or less kills ball movement when he gets out there. If he played more within an offense and under control he would be OK in my book. But he doesn't so he doesn't deserve special recognition. Plus his constant yelling and taunting after every shot is annoying.
Nate is the best 6th man in basketball--he has a Dwayne Wade jr type game. The guy is a great little player with awesome heart.
you forgot to qualify... he is the best 6th man in bb on one end of the floor. I think I saw the little man go under picks that were about 5 feet from him... and they lead to direct layups.
He's smallish so he will always have some trouble on the D--there is no way around it but he gives maximum effort and that is what you want. In terms of overall game--how could you ask for a better 6th man? He comes with energy he rebounds he hits the open man and is unstoppable on the offensive end. He's a spark plug and a game changer
the problems I am describing have nothing to do with how small he is. Nate is great on O and can rebound. He did have a bunch of steals last night and he can have more if he used more energy on D.
Nate is unstoppable on the offensive end... how come he can't use his quickness to pressure the ball? He should also average 3 steals a game, not the 1.5 he has going now.
Nate is a siv on the perimeter.
No his size will always be a detriment on the D--there is no way around that--so that factors in. He's an effort player--giving 110% all the time. If they feel he needs to position himself differently on the D it's on the coach--Nate is going to give the effort. All in all the guy is a gem of a gem player. I would rather concentrate on his absolute positives than some of the smaller negatives. He's a winning type player--he wants to win and he CARES about winning. Does he do too much at times--yes but he has continued to get better making smarter plays and has improved by leaps and bounds. When you ahve gold you dont want to trade it for silver.
how does not fighting over picks or not putting on-the-ball pressure have to do with Nate's size? He doesn't give 110% on D. That's why MDA was screaming at Nate last night.
There were a couple of instances last night where both Duhon and Nate anticipated a pick (pick setter was still 3-5 feet away from them) and they both went under. This left the likes of DLee to stay with Sessions or Bell with a big gap towards the rim.
