Dice is a hell of a player. Lets not forget. He can't fly anymore, but his game is good. He can't play big minutes every night.

Knicks won. Lee played a good role, grabbed a lot of boards.

Nate played with a log of emotion.

D Lee's low post game has improved dramatically this year... he was posting & toasting McDyess all night long tonight... if u think he's just strictly a PF who only gets his offense off the pick & roll you're not paying attention.

Yes he looked great last night, and it's true, he goes right at guys with back to the basket moves with more and more success this year. I don't get it: he plays with such desire/energy/confidence/smarts on offense, why is he such a passive and indifferent wimp on defense? Last night was no exception, he was laying out the red carpet all night for Detroit.

Very satisfying win overall though.

Better yet- if Lee is such a good rebounder, why couldn't he stop McDyss from grabbing 22, and why couldn't he slow Detroit down from outrebounding us by 20+?

Lee is a good rebounder. Let's separate that from other things. Last night David forgot to put a body on Dice a lot.

Problem is, he spends so much time worrying about where the ball is going, he forgets to put a body on alot of people. Hey, but he must be reading this crap, cause I saw he had a block or two in the last two wins.

Lee had a bad game last night and he had half the rebounds for the whole team. They had three guys going to the offensive glass. I guess David should have had 35 boards by himself last night. I wish the Knicks had someone to help him rebound and someone to block shots. I pray we draft Cole Aldrich or Bj Mullens.

Lee's defense in recent games have gone from bad to worse it was totally inexcusable for him to lose Varejao on almost back to back plays in the fourth quarter against the Cavs. He's also guilty of jacking up bad shots (I know, so is everyone else) which tend to lead to fast breaks the other especially when he decided to slap his hands across the wrist indicating he was fouled. He also missed from about 5 feet a couple of times, why? He pulled down the O rebound and tried to shoot it before he was set. I don't know man, Lee is a good rebounder but his D leaves alot to be desired.

anytime you don't have any defense coming from your 4/5 spots, you are not gonna win a title. but you can still win a bunch of games as utah's proven with boozer/okur. i think you just build a team to win as many games as you can, and championships are for the lucky. there is a ceiling in place with lee as the starting pf (just by going on nba history) but moving him doesn't guarantee you'll get a player better than him to fill the slot.
