If you read it again:

There isn't one point in the conversation where Wade says he deserves the MVP. The author wrote this:

"Dwyane Wade believes that his name deserves to be mentioned in the MVP conservation thanks to a great individual season and the resurgence of the Heat."

But in the quotes from Wade he said nothing of the sort. He simply said he was happy to mentioned as part of the discussion and felt blessed that his team was doing well. He then gave his interpretation of what an MVP is. Not once did he say, he is that guy. Without hearing the full conversation aren't we just jumping to conclusions on what Wade said? You are being steered by the author

His self-centered take on TEAM and MVP more than lend themselves to criticism. Don't get me wrong, I've thought Wade was a throwback from the beginning of his career, someone who didn't cheat the game and brought the same relentless win at all costs ethic to the game. Unfortunately, this may not be the case. MAY NOT be. I guess I just expect more from a Marquette product.

By the way, I thought MVP was MVP of the League, not your individual team. A piss-ant point, but if Wade's take had any credibility, there'd be 30 MVP's, not one. Who the F cares who the MVP of the Grizzlies is? Apologies to you Memphisonians (Memphisites?)... somehow though, i doubt even you folks care.

Look at the way some in this thread are talking about him. This has nothing to do with what he said. They just dont like Wade and have an agenda against him.

...not being steered one bit here. Wade is an arrogant fool. He mouthed off about us the other day and now he comes out Shaq-Esque about the MVP trophies and finds a not so subtle way to suggest HE is MVP and should have been and should be while trying to hide behind certain comments that simply DON'T add up.

there is no "obvious" to it.. look back on my past post.. I was never anti wade.. I just don't like the mouthing off he has been doing the past couple of weeks.... It comes off as ****y, arrogant, and so drama queen like...
