Nichols is better than PEJr but we have the room to sign both so why not sign both. Would be good to have PEJr's rights for summer league and training camp next year.

He is? Since when?

Until proven otherwise Nichols is a bum that thought he was bigger than coaches and GMs of a few NBA teams already. Thought he didn't have to bother doing anything more than show up to shoot the ball. Until that attitude is gone he's nothing but a bum.

Of course, he could step onto the court with a minute to go in a blowout, and hit a meaningless wide open 3, and Knick forums worldwide will light up annointing him the next Allan Houston, but that's besides the point.

This bum has a lot to prove and I'm not so certain anyone could grow out of such a piss poor attitude so quickly.

This signing also hints big time that Isiah still works here. The Samb signing too. Very Isiah-Esque. Walsh definitely still has Isiah's ear or at least POV.

I'd like to know who Nichols is going to play before anyway....

jrodmc - I would submit that "good business practices" for any NBA General Manager lead with acquiring he best players available

Not the players with the most familiar last name.

Let it go.

He has a more developed NBA skill than PEJr. Yes he's better.

Nichols is going to be a factor in some game down the road this year. I guarantee that.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Shooting- if you don't watch college basketball I can't help you much. One player is clearly a lot more developed than the other. And I like PE Jr.

Nichols led the BigEast in scoring... PEjr was an also ran for Georgetown.

I'd be happy to wax nostalgic and have PEjr on the team, but Nichols is a good pickup and rightfully was given a roster spot first.

Yeah and JJ Redick was a college phenom. What happened? Yeah, reality, that he's nothing more than a BUM.

Seeing we signed Nichols, I'd like for him to succeed, but the last thing I'm going to do is hand him ANY accolades before he proves it let alone pencil him in as a rotation player or solid contributor. None. As far as I'm concerned he's an absolute NOBODY right now. Until he proves otherwise.

If he can make a shot, Demetris Nichols makes Quentin Richardson more obsolete than he already is

Redick doesn't have any size. That's cool, knock the kid. He's a good fit in this offense and I think he'll factor into this playoff race at some point.
