I don't mind the missed shots but dis guy doesn't even look

Agent Zero makes Quentin Richardson look like Kobe Bryant

This is his game. These are the shots he takes and the way he plays. When he's back into game shape there will be nights when they will go down. Simple as that. It's very Jamal-Esque in that. There's nights when he's hot, and plenty of nights when he's not.

He's a STOP GAP measure though so honestly it shouldn't piss any of us off all that much except from a game to game perspective.

Cosmic - stop gap or not Agent Zero should have more sense than to play so blatantly selfish

If he gets back on the floor tonight he will be booed and earn a hook that will stay with him for as long as he wears a Knicks uni

New Yorkers know that new shows can get quickly cancelled on Broadway

It's all about the debut

u know if u had that same kinda pragmatic, sensible approach to Jamal's games as u just did w/Larry Hughes, we could have avoided a lot of the arguments we had.

The difference is Jamal was the ball-dominant center of the offense and had a longer deal than Hughes.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Except....Jamal was here for five years...was trying to carry the team...was tagged a franchise cornerstone...had a long term contract...was considered a part of the future...and we lived and died by him.

It was a different scenario. Also he had so many supporters it was mind boggling.

Whereas, we all know Hughes is a bum, we're hoping he can just produce enough as a stop gap measure (and i think he can if he gets his legs back), isn't tasked to carry or save the team, isn't a franchise player nor expected to be, and isn't part of the future.

So, it's just an entirely different context, TMS, that's all.

Larry Hughes is a 40% shooter from 3 pt range & u guys don't want him to shoot the ball... amazing... he's coming off 17 consecutive DNP's, he's gonna be rusty... everyone take a chill pill... it was 1 game.

What? He's a career 30% 3 point shooter, 41% from the field. He's terrible. Someone needs to work on this guys' shot.

i was talking about this season... he's averaging 39% from beyond the arc... i know he's a chucker... we all did coming in... ain't nobody gonna teach this guy how to shoot at this point, he's been in the NBA for like 11 years now... if Allan Houston can work w/this cat & get him to change his mindset & shooting touch he should be awarded something... still, once Hughes gets his game legs back under him i'd have the same faith in him taking a shot as i would Q, Harrington or Duhon... the guy can score the ball.

Don't know why that lineup is too hard for MDA to get in his mind that works best for this team.

I seriously have to turn away when the ball is in his hands
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

over a month of inactivity, coming into a new team that plays a new system with a new head coach & new teammates... it's gonna take time for him to adjust & get his stroke back... relax... don't tell me this guy can't score the basketball when he's back in playing shape... he ain't no Allan Houston in his prime obviously but he ain't no Anthony Roberson either so let's stop making him out to be some garbage scrub, OK?

Why won't the dude just take it to the rack until he's got his legs? Is that so hard?

this team shoulda been in all out tank mode since January, but what u or i think is irrelevant... MDA's trying to make the playoffs.

Again, purposely losing breeds losers. Teams rarely openly tank games. I don't know why it seems to be such a logical and common idea for all bad teams to purposely lose as many games as they can. The teams don't feel that way. I guess it's a fan thing.

After all the damage Isiah did there would be nothing worse than for the new regime to come in and purposely lose games.

Besides, as I said in another thread, we need to showcase these players. The best way to do that is for them (the vets) to play and put up the best stats they can.

Losing purposely lowers the value of every player on the trade market, creates an 'its okay to take your paycheck and not try hard and go out and party' atmosphere, and prevents any growth of any player you might decide is worth keeping come the summer of 2010 - the day we official begin to build the new team.

You cannot tank in January --I don't believe in that either. But when you are 11 games under with 23 to go--I would take Mark Cuban's advice. Mark Cuban is smarter than anyone associated with the Knicks

i think it's obvious what we all mean when we talk about tanking games... u play the youth & let the chips fall where they may.
