LOL, in a matter of 5 months or so, Donnie and Mike D' pretty much urinated all over Isiah's "body of work." I love it.

You have to remember Isiah's body of work is also Lee, Nate, Chandler, Possibly Gallo, JJ2 and Curry. they are still on the roster and most are actually good.

So far so good.

Don't forget, we still have the 20.8 pound gorilla. Donnie might have held the best card for last and now he has open roster spots to work with. I'm not moving from my seat till this is all done

This is an Isiah compliment-free zone around here, so you're going to start problems with a post like that.

Zeke was a great drafter, but lets keep that between me and you.

Decent drafter. Drafting Frye over Bynum, Granger puts a huge rain cloud over his reputation.

Everybody has their F-ups. NY isnt the place for a high schooler, but Granger hurts for sure.

can you imagine if Isiah had gotten Dlee, Nate AND Granger in the same draft? that might be the best draft ever for not having a top 7 pick. that would be amazing. on the flip side, that draft would be so good, he might never have been fired, so i guess i can live it .

Wins: Lee, Nate
Send it to the Jury, its too Early (AKA Average): Chandler (hon mention: Ariza, but hes not here)
Loses: Frye, Balkman, Collins, Nichols (draft day deal wasnt it?)

...I just wouldn't call it great. At best, overall, average job in the time spent here.

Only real loss in that bunch is Frye. late 1st rounders, and 2nd rounders are always a crap shoot.

Ariza is DEFINITELY a win, if not for Larry Brown pushing him out we'd still have him.

Balkman was bad too. Should have drafted Rondo. Williams too, even though he's a bust, but I at least would understand the purpose. Drafting Balkman was just a coverup for trading Ariza.

Listen, Isiah has some flubs in the draft, but overall the guy knows what he's doing when it comes to drafting. That being said, he was a horrible, horrible, horrible GM. No business running a club. The embarrassment that was brought here under his reign was ridiculous.

I'm at Disney and having trouble keeping up but has Walsh done anything to improve the team beyond next season? Has he collected any draft picks or assets that can be used to further his stated plan? Has he cleared anymore cap space in 2010?

he made the team better in the short term while not deviating from his stated plan. that counts for something.

Thanks for answering. I'll reserve my reponse until after the trade deadline has passed and all trades are in.
