The thing that MDA has done that no other coach is he is playing the right guys which is good coaching. The players are doing the rest he is giving the right people chances and making them accountable. If MDA has magically made Lee into a better player why doesnt he do the same thing with Jerome, Eddy, and Jared. The coaches job is to put them in a position to prosper and the players to do the job. Earlier in the year when we had 7 players the coaches and Walsh werent helping this team either. Now that we have nine players this team is playing much better. MDA had more than enough talent to win it all in Phoenix but I dont blame him I blame the players.

Are these players better or are they just being given more minutes, in a system designed to inflate their numbers, and are therefore seeing their numbers go up from previous years?

So if Gallinari goes for 13 and 5 tonight, fans should not get excited because Jimmy may call isiah back and give him the coaches job back.

I'm as reserved and even keeled as anyone on this site. I have my prediction and 2 weeks ago they were within 2 games of my prediction and with this hot streak they are right on my prediction. I still think this team has a lot of work to do. That being said if some Knick fan gets excited when his team is on a hot streak I'm not sure I understand why that should bother me.

I'd disagree with us needing two superstars- clearly, we do need to find a 'best talent in league' kind of player & while this roster might look like a good supporting cast, I have my doubts...

how many NBA teams have won championships w/only 1 superstar on the team tho? not that many that i recall (please don't give me names from the 60s, 70s & 80s, i'm talking modern day style basketball here) IMO u need 2 big guys to give urself the best chance
